We believe that Canada is a country where we value political discourse and our rights as citizens to organize and mobilize collectively especially in peaceful citizen engagement.
We believe that banning George Galloway from entering Canada demonstrates that the Conservative Canadian government does not respect our rights as citizens to dissent or have dissenting views, peacefully organize and advocate around a particular viewpoint or political position, and
We believe that George Galloway should be allowed into Canada, and allowed to freely express himself during his visit.

Good petition! Capital cause! Great picture!
Here we have a man who is standing with a microphone--not a gun, not a rocket, not even a rock--yet we're being told that he's a threat so big that we can't let him into the country to give a speech.
We can all feel, I believe that anybody in their right mind should feel, we should know that such a decision is hypocritical at best; perhaps there is even something more sinister involved.
When people accept hypocrisy everything bad and very bad becomes possible, including 2+2=5 and the double-think which makes an action good or evil not depending on the law, but on the identity of the criminal.
Imagine Galloway being stopped on his way to China because of his words about what's happening in Tibet! "It's China," people would say. Has Canada become China?
Perhaps the only difference between the Chinese and the Canadian regimes of China is in our perception of both of them.
Meanwhile young Canadians are sent to Afghanistan where they kill Afghans and get killed themselves, all in the name of "democracy", "freedom", and what's this: "Our life style". What life style?
