I have fallen in love with the original American spirit all over again.
In the past few weeks Americans have been in a furor over the tasering of that young man. It is as if that was the first time an American was arrested for speaking out! However, Americans have been speaking out for some time now. It is simply that this young man was able to bring the situation to the forefront of American consciousness. So I decided to see what I could find.
Over the past few years, I have been accused of being anti-American or of hating Americans as a result of my postings. Every time I have Answered, "It is not the people, it is the government and its policies that I deplore."
Many Muslims have voiced the impression that Americans are apathetic about what is being done in the Middle East. Nothing could be further from the truth. To date, I know of at least three outspoken individuals who have "gone missing" within the last two years. The first is Svali, a brave survivor who went public with her stories of MK Ultra in America. Another is Daniel Abrahamson, a young man who had the gall to expose the Neocon plan for the planet in great detail.
For today I am just going to post these photographs I have gathered of people risking everything they have to protest, to make their voices heard by the powers that be. These lovers of peace do care and, despite the many smiles, are deadly serious about this campaign. There are truly Americans who DO care, who DO make a noise for them.
Their originality in their statements against the government are amazing.

They are brave beyond belief and to be
congratulated for their incredible chutzpah.
