This is not photo-shopped; it is painted on this lovely mother-to-be. This image speaks of the absolute connection between Mother and Child.
The maternal instinct is one of the most powerful impulses known in
nature and it is my intent here to understand it in a greater way.
My
challenge was creating a design that didn't oversimplify the obvious,
yet remained true and feminine and also added a touch of the surreal and
mysterious.
It is such a privilege for me to work with expectant
mothers and then with their precious newborns. I hope to continue being
