WEDNESDAY DROP: IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT THE CHILDREN: MAY 24, 2023

It has always been about the children.

Amen.

Neither. It will be a small gathering; free range BC steaks.

Where was this headline 45 years ago?

Why have Republicans not been working on this issue more proactively? Uni-party?

Now, about dogs wandering about and making the world a better place.... His name is Todd. It was him or his person so he jumped in pushing her aside. He was at the vet's within 15 minutes and home within a day.

How darn stupid are these "teachers"? Two cuts. Twenty minutes. Three pieces of wood.

During his first run for the Presidency of France, the media went wild trying to make him appeal to every type of French person there was, to feed every appetite. This photo-shopped gay magazine was one I remember seeing prominently displayed everywhere. Not so far off the mark, years later.

900 000 children disappear from the face of the earth a year.

This guy....

Read this twice.

Odd that RuPaul is not included here.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are an obscenity that have been around for almost 50 years, starting during tail end of the Haight-Ashbury scene in SanFrancisco. Obscenity and abomination were/are their stock in trade with absolutely nothing being sacred. This is absolutely nauseating to have these creatures up in the public eye but you know they might tone it down a tad for public consumption. But that is not the point, is it?

Something went wrong.

Chinese forest drones already exist.

Should I feel really old when I remember one of these things up at our cottage when I was young? I imagine it was rowed across the lake to our place, before Dad had our road blasted in. That beautiful cherry wood gave those old tunes a beautiful resonance that sometimes carried across the water at night. Scratchy old records, clumsy needles, warm sound.

YES. Beautiful pushback in lower Ontario.

  3. As usual both hope and despair in your post. One question that comes up between myself and "some" others, is where do we go if Trudeau gets elected again? As per always, I love the Clint quote. The trouble is, there are far too few Clints and far too many "gimmee dats" in the world right now. Thanks for your efforts, Wednesday and Saturday mornings are my favorites of the week.

  4. Really enjoy your content. I have to point out something about the two posts you have for library story hours. Unless I missed something, the Super Hero event at each library starts 30 minutes before the drag queen event. I'd be concerned that the same kids who are brought for the Super Heroes would turn out to be the audience for the drag queens, too. I'm not sure how effective that's going to be as push back.

  6. Good morning, Noor. Congratulations on No, 205, that train crossing a magnificent viaduct. The scene may be somewhere in Switzerland, I'm not sure.

It's lilac time here in Montreal. I have observed all three colours—pale, the colour we usually think of as lilac, dark purple, and white—and their perfume is incomparable. A foretaste of Paradise!

  7. Thanks again and a lot, dear Noor. I love the red roses in a car. My father gifted always red roses to my mother. And I'm stealing memes as many as I can. Kind regards by another grandma on motorbike
