Sorry folks. Nothing for you today. Last night Google did a number on my PC and I woke up to an unrecognizable computer screen ... again. Everything gigantic and files all gone. This is the same as happened last winter. No panic however because, thank goodness, I had just saved everything a few days ago so almost nothing was lost. Just the prep for this post. And, tbh, I really don't want to think of the crap they want coming down the line tonight
BUT the crazy thing is, all the material that disappeared last winter came back, as if the past 6 months had never happened. So now, I have everything that was lost, all my old stuff. This makes me happy but has made for a major mess to clean up.
Meanwhile, I am in bragging Mom mode ~ overdrive. My daughter completed her PhD yesterday. Such a great feeling to have had my more unpopular life choices (with my family) validated! They had me feeling my kids turned out well despite me. Ha. I proved I just did it my way and it worked. Both kids are happy and set for their lives.. optimistically speaking. I done good.
Anyhow, the long and short of it is I have nothing to post for today. But you will come back next week for more! Thousands of images restored; my goodness, feels like such wealth! But there is still major organization to be done.
Enjoy the Blue Moon. There is one every year and it is extra fine to have such beauty to celebrate while the evenings are still comfortable.
Happy to hear that things are going swimingly well in your family. Not everyone does, but everyone should at least try to go their own way. For many years I think my family thought I was going to end up as a huge disappointment. I fooled them all ;-).
