Although
I do not think this was the artist’s intention to make a philosophical
statement, but to me this is profound. The beneficial use to which these pure
little sparrows put the steer skull, a symbol of great evil in today’s world, morph
it into an object of beauty, productivity, song ~ and art with an uplifting and
positive message. I just love the underlying message of this painting.
