HATE COMES TO ORANGE COUNTY

Watching the following video disgusted me. Pure unadulterated blind racism and hatred straight out of Little Rock in the 1950's ~ or modern day Israel. Interestingly both situations having a heavy dose of Jewish involvement. The people venting were obviously fools, unread and easily manipulated as so many uneducated Americans are. In this case, "educated" has nothing to do with book learning.

The rally below lasted for many hours. It was arranged by some of America's most gifted haters. Photos and my commentary are my $.02 worth of Snippits and Snappits to the piece.

Are you appalled by the hate that you saw in the video posted above by CAIR? I know how you feel, I was the one taking the footage and being told to go beat my (future) wife. I was called a terrorist, a pedophile and told that I was a traitor. My own experience didn't make too much of a significance, unfortunately I am used to these things. I posted a note a while ago and pictures, but the video took longer to post up. Now that you have watched a fraction of the five hours of hate I had the opportunity to document there is something you can do. Hold people responsible- starting with the ELECTED OFFICIALS.

I felt like I was watching the Little Rock 9 walk into Little Rock High School surrounded by the National Guard.

At other points it reminded me of a KKK rally.

When I heard the elected officials there, I thought about Governor Orval Faubus, called civil rights activists "communists" who were undermining our Constitution.

When Japanese Americans were rounded up during WWII and sent off to concentration camps, the Congressional Hearings held afterward identified three area's that lead up to the stripping liberties and massive violation of civil rights ~ fear and ignorance of Japanese Americans, but the more serious issue was the lack of political leadership to stand up to that fear and ignorance.

Our elected officials allowed one of the darkest moments of history occur under their watch. Today we have elected officials drumming that same beat of fear, ignorance and hatred ~ they can not be allowed to go unchecked.

It is not hard to find better photos of the lovely Pamela Geller, hater, responsible for the mosque mobs in NYC last year. However, this particular photo appealed to me greatly. This woman spouts irrational anti Muslim hatred with her every breath and was an organizer of the gathering in the above film. Ms. Geller is also known as "the shrieking harpy" in some quarters, which, when you hear her, is quite apropos.

We so frequently quote Pastor Martin Niemoller ~ "when they came for me" ~ yet for the past several years we have witnessed the creeping of this hatred and paranoia towards Muslims, and all to often people have shrugged their shoulders thinking that "its not anything but free speech" or "well they are Muslims, the new Jews and Catholics" ~ but sadly this is not America nor the attitude of Americans who value our Constitutions and the society that it establishes.

The Tea Party might not be attacking you currently ~ but they are attacking the what makes America great- and if we allow this mentality to take over then when they come attacking Mexicans, or Women's Rights activists, or the LGBT community, or African Americans living below the poverty line- who will be left to speak out?
