ReplyDeleteI had a detailed comment for this most recent article and then my apple crashed just as I was nearly finished (and, I had a lot to say about it, including flouride now being planned for Portland and its suburb's water supply, the incredible number of people I know who've contracted cancer here in Oregon in the last 20 or so months, my 'skoolin' including the 'Pledge of Allegience' I and all other American children were taught, day after day; year after year...) but I have a terrible time re-writing thoughts I've already hit upon.
So instead of attempting to re-write it I'm going to go wth a different thought, even though this breaks your rule of keeping comments relevant. Instead go with something I've been thinking of recently (and this is not really meant as a comment, but only for you).
First, you and some others who've taken the time and made the effort to create websites and blogs have, I can attest, won over converts. I think this is really important for you (and the others) to know. You are NOT only preaching to the choir. YOU are making a difference!
As recently as Dec 2008 I was a republican moron, had voted for bush (didn't like him, but always voted for that party) and believed Muslim cavemen became expert pilots and, with a cunning only known to Muslims, brought about 911.
I visited NYC in 2006 (5th anniversary) and stayed at the HIlton right across from Ground Zero. I had to see it for myself. I had these nagging doubts but Fox and Beck and Savage and O'Reilly always put them to rest.
My revelation happened just before New Year's 2009.
The path from that day to today has been a long slog thru a whole lot of BS. I really think (hope!) I've come a long way. I picked up bits and pieces first from the clowns like Alex Jones -initially I thought he was a great revelation but 6 months later I took from him what I thought was legit and moved on... It has been like that since. Re-Educating myself on most subjects (I determined math and English were likely legit and everything else I had been taught deserved to be re-examined).
I am seriously thinking about starting a blog. I've never done it before and don't know if there are silly mistakes not to make when beginning or some hosting sites I should shun or some great things I should do from the start... if you have any advice for me I'd sure appreciate it.

I'd really like to focus on my trip from a guy who, at the start of my journey believed and regurgitated the media/jewish bullshit to a man who ultimately grew confident enough to learn for myself what is true and false rather than accepting what I was previously taught or told.
