YOUR MIDWEEK CARTOONS: FOCUS SRI LANKA: APRIL 24, 2019

This has been a painful Holy Week for Christians the world over. What began with the shock of the fire in Notre Dame was rounded out by the suicide bombing of praying Christians, resulting in hundreds of dead and injured victims. Possibly half the Catholic population of Sri Lanka were killed. All the blasts took place at exactly the same time. Local Muslim terrorists were quick to step in and claim the attacks.

According to the excellent BBC film series, The Century of the Self, porches were removed from American architecture purposefully. At this time, people were more focused on the world around them and their communities. (((Certain people)))  had other ideas for this idyllic world, more commercialism and control, opportunities to profit, an ancient war to carry on to the end. We all know, over a century later, how well they have succeeded in their goals of corrupting the West. And porches were one of the first things to go. Not a cell phone in sight.

This is a fact that could make you scratch your head and go, Hmmmmmm.

Those rude Democrats did not even spellcheck their comments. They misspelled "worshipers" thereby adding insult to injury.

Trudeau's responses to both the Christchurch and Sri Lankan massacres. He is so much more compassionate and forceful in his support for the victims in the case of the NZ victims. But at least he did not refer to Christians as "Easter worshippers"!

I find it frighteningly interesting that, when I do a search on this issue "Trudeau, FGM, Canada" the CBC sit that comes up lasts for a split second then disappears. I recognize Hussen's scalp but there is no time to register more before it disappears. It will take deeper digging to explore the issue of FGM in Canada. The so-called feminist is just a walking Pandora's box of contradictory vote pandering. Even Sophie seems to have had enough; she has been invisible to the public eye for months now. Just poofed along with the children.

Drooling. It is 1 am. I am so hungry. That looks like perfectly prepared crisp pork belly. Or the outer fattier cuts of prime beef. Either way, oh my gosh. If I wanted a snack, all I have is a small tin of sardines in the cupboard.

So.... I just went and opened that tin of Portuguese sardines, smothered them in Worcestershire Sauce; it is delicious but I will probably awaken with indigestion at some point tonight. And it isn't that dish above.

The person holding the gun is Che Guevara. He was killing lots of people that day. He is a hero according to the uninformed.

Nice swimming hole!

Every child in public grade school in North America receives little catalogues from Scholastic Books several times throughout the school year. I wanted to avoid groupthink for my children so ignored those offerings and took them to the local bookstores instead ~ much better literary offerings.

I never really paid attention to the politics of those booklets when my daughters brought them home back in the 1980's and '90's. But those were more innocent times; now it is full scale Liberal politics south of the border! The above front page is appalling.

Popular colouring project in mid-Western and Communist American schools. The children get to choose pre-approved colours to fill in lines that someone else drew, all the while thinking of the wonderful Ms. Ilhan. Impressive education the kids are receiving.

Below we see this icon of morality leading a parade encouraging people to cheat for the Democrats in elections by, at the very least, double voting.

Among the finer origins of our Western Mediterranean culture. We really WAS KANGS back in the day!

Every. Darn. Year.

European Soccer beckons.

Media does not cover the Yellow Vests. But in France it is getting stronger, the brutality of Macron's thugs ever more violent. I have wondered if the fire of Notre Dame was also an attempt to divert attention of the French from other matters pressing upon the Rothschild rent boy Macron.

Somehow, in the Ukraine, home of the Holodomor, a (((comedian!!!))) has won the presidency. Word is people did not so much vote for him as NOT vote for his opponent. Methinks the Ukrainians will have more rough times ahead. Blue and yellow show up in many cartoons on this election.

Deep fried chicken and maple syrup and ginger in a waffle cone. Oh. Dear. Lord.

San Francisco is the city that makes it legal to go through life without ever telling anyone you are HIV+. This includes lovers, doctors, blood clinics. It also has the filthiest streets in the nation in terms of being an outdoor potty.

France and Italy actually agree on something?

What a despicable creature this (((sick comic))) is. The eternal chalk scratch on a blackboard.

Ah, Picasso does know how to improve a beautiful classic piece of art, does he not?

I love people who can laugh at life like this. They have been given a serious challenge and manage to find joy in dark humour of their own.

An old cartoon from just after the whole mess began.

The "lightly redacted" Mueller Report has been made public and, predictably, it's not changing a single mind regarding President Trump's guilt or innocence. Not that the anti-Trump forces are exactly sure what Trump is guilty of other than his repeatedly pointing out that a two-year phony investigation was, indeed, a phony investigation.

An attempted political coup, in fact, which we're certainly hoping Attorney General Barr will be pursuing thoroughly, relentlessly, and hopefully mercilessly.

The Mueller Report clearly establishes that neither Trump nor anyone in his circle had anything to do with Russian collusion, and that sufficient evidence to cause Obama's justice department to spy on Trump's campaign never actually existed ~ everything was based on a fabricated (and transparently ridiculous) dossier which was paid for by Trump's opposition in the 2016 election: Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

Failing to find evidence of, well, anything truly damaging to Trump, Robert Mueller packed his report with snarky anecdotes about Trump being a volatile and chaotic personality surrounded by staffers who keep him from making big mistakes.

Well, duh ~ that's exactly what we voted for! The system is working!

To expand further on this point (and make it simple enough for even our liberal friends to understand), let's travel back to a post we made last year which explains why we don't give a rat's rear end about anything in the Mueller Report...

According to Bob Woodward's new tell-all book "Fear" and a recent New York Times op-ed which was allegedly written by "an anonymous White House official who we are totally not making up," President Donald Trump is an egotistical, mercurial boob who requires constant supervision by others to stave off disaster.

Yawn.

The accounts may or may not be 100% accurate, but we don't care ~ other than having a constant undercurrent of mild terror. Because many of us who voted for Trump, however reluctantly, knew all of this about him going in. We weren't really happy about giving the country's reins to a man whose thought process can be likened to a pinball machine, but the only other choice was inconceivably worse.

Going back to our cartoon metaphor, our plane was already in serious trouble and going down fast. Hillary Clinton would put us into a nose dive at maximum throttle, then cackle hysterically (when not coughing) all the way down to our fiery doom.

Trump, on the other hand, might seem to have a screw loose ~ but he had a record of somehow getting things accomplished and seemed sincere in his desire to save the day. And unlike Hillary's kamikaze scenario, Trump wouldn't be alone in the cockpit ~ he'd actually have a trained co-pilot, flight engineer, navigator, and others to help compensate for his inexperience and eccentricities.

Which brings us to the present. Woodward and the New York Times are reporting that dedicated White House staffers are working constantly to defuse Trump's bad ideas and help enable his good ideas ~ which is why this amateur President keeps racking up success after success.

In other words, we're seeing a scary process that produces good results rather than what, under Hillary, would have been a nightmarishly efficient process producing devastating results.

That doesn't strike us as being an entirely bad thing. Especially if the in-flight turbulence doesn't get bad enough to keep the flight attendant from rolling that drink cart our way on a regular basis.

The burden of all these donations, so much of it generously donated by (((wealthy folk))) among others, is that they might all want a say in the final product!

Churches damaged or destroyed, mosques built.

Another interesting coincidence.

This architect suggests that a glass ceiling would make the church interior a place of brightness and light. How foolish. Does he intend to remove the domes of the roof that lay beneath the outer wooden shell? See the above photo. That cement and rock roof only collapsed where the spire fell through; otherwise it is intact and the Cathedral is not nearly as badly burned as expected.

Globalist architectural nonsense in Dublin.

Animals do not behave like this. They slaughter for food, mating, whatever. This sort of horror is completely man-made.

Yes, she did say that!

Christian martyrs.

This child Bella made the news when her teacher forbad her to use Donald Trump as a topic for her essay on who she regarded as a hero. The President made sure to send her his support.
