YOUR SATURDAY CARTOONS: APRIL 13, 2019

Beyond ludicrous. The Thumbs up or Thumbs Down sign has been infamous since the days of the Roman spectacles when the Caesar would decide upon the fate of a fighter.

Dive in! Eternity awaits.

There are many reasons mothers are single. This is a disturbingly hateful (IMHO) bit of propaganda. I am not defending Single Parenthood although I was one myself, I am protesting the generalizations and the comments I found attached to this piece.

Meanwhile you have these fools who are sterilizing themselves and going on about ending the human race to improve it for those who come later. And who might that be?

It would be good to see this come October.

Gas taxes paying for Loblaw's refrigeration? A company that made so many millions last year?

A month ago it was $1.25. They push for electric vehicles instead. Currently there is no cost to charge these things in public parking; that would change the moment gas was phased out!

Meanwhile, the TRUTH, not what we are told.

  2. This https://files.catbox.moe/ofrduz.gif is a slower-motion version of this https://files.catbox.moe/eljbmx.gif which he took and combined with the "cosmos." Creative person, whoever did it.

It's from the Orson Welles film noir "Lady from Shanghai." The woman diving off the cliff is Rita Hayworth who was married to Welles at the time and the co-star of the film. It's the only film where she appears with her hair cut short and dyed blonde. She was a professional dancer good enough to be paired with Fred Astaire, so in great shape at the time; therefore, it's possible she did the dive herself, but they could have also used an exact body-double which they have for all famous stars, their stunt double. They used pro-Hitler Errol Flynn's yacht in the ocean location scenes. Flynn and Welles were close friends, despite having opposite political beliefs.

  3. Notre-Dame de Paris has burned down! Surely the end of the world must be at hand.
