SATURDAY ALTERNATIVE CARTOONS: SEPTEMBER 2, 2017

Summer comes to an end this weekend. Children back to school, prayerfully an end to our fires with the cooler weather. Anyhow, this week, focus on Justine Trudeau, Houston, Trump, shoe-gate, Labour Day, Antifa, the media, liberals... all the usual goodies.

It is a long weekend. Sit in the shade with a cool drink and enjoy the cartoons and commentary. And share!

I must be getting old. This one cracked me up. It is so dangerously true. If electricity disappeared for some reason, how would these kids get by without writing?

Trump gives $1 M of his own money to Texas and all the media comes up with is "Shoe-gate?" More on that silliness later.

ANOTHER YEAR for the final season! I want me some more of that terrifying ice dragon snorting blue fire!

 Communism anyone?

Artist Comment: Right VS Wrong: Living up to their motto "Achieving Peace Through Violence", alt-left extremist group Antifa attack a peaceful "Rally Against Hate" march attended by Christian groups and other conservatives in Berkeley, California on Sunday. Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S33HVduI474

These folks all look so darn miserable.

I must admit this one confuses me somewhat. The cognitive dissonance has my brain reeling into space.

Yes, he is indeed a deep thinking critter.

Sigh: Jenner. I suppose I am a racist for pointing out a spelling error. Antifa says proper English is racist.

I checked this guy out. He takes himself very seriously! Unstable as a rumbling volcano.

I simply could not resist.

Grammar police again: "Straight." Not surprised Justine misspelled it! Laughs.

God save Canada from this absolute fool.

Yep, that is exactly what Hebdo had on its front cover. This (((publication))) goes out of its way to be disgusting, using schlock constantly to get attention more than make a point. (((They))) are driven by hatred of all peoples. Equal opportunity haters.

The German elections are.... putting the people to sleep. Truly surprising considering the political mess in Germany!

Sarsour borrowed heavily from the Clinton Foundation workbook techniques for her "good works". I do not know if she did this, but I was reading earlier about how people take out websites and have them all ready to fill in the blanks when disasters strike. There is a playbook. Sarsour is another thief to avoid like the hypocrite she is.

Artist Comment: The Commander-in-Chief: A swift, compassionate, practical response to Hurricane Harvey, a morale-boosting visit for Texas and a personal donation of $1,000,000 of his own money to help the recovery effort. Keep up the great work President Trump. ✅

I believe Trump made a fool out of this guy, not that that would be too difficult.

The hands....

Artist Comment: Just to catch up all my non-US comrades on the hurricane situation over here ~ the Republican Party doesn't believe that climate change is real and is likely a hoax; the Democratic Party believes that climate change is real, but is trying to blame it on the Russians. So, everybody straight on that, now?

Andrew Anglin. Need I say more?

OMG I just noticed this scuzzy-bucket has followers. No "likes" for his cheap advertising for the filth he peddles. Benny's creep factor makes one shudder with disgust.

..

Man, I am in trouble. I look at a printed page and the typos just leap out at me! As do the grammar errors. So, being of an editorial and literary bent makes one a racist?

Former bad boy (truly) Irish lad Marky Mark (Wahlberg) has aged quite nicely.  He also openly states it is not up to actors to be involved in politics. His shirt makes a fine conservative statement.

Chelsea Manning is one tough activist! Lucky she got her "work" done before Trump came into power.

 Anything & everything goes!

Back to Canada for a moment...

Those liberals would not last very long at all.

Transinvestigation can eat up all of your time and distract you greatly from more relevant work and thoughts. It can be rather seductive as you wonder if so and so .... However, the above illustration is a handy little guide if you do decide to look into this hideous phenomenon. There is much much more to this deception than most would think. One or two good videos and off you go! When you consider how long this deception has been going on, aeons, but now how overt it is, and how it has effected the psyche of millions upon millions of human beings, it really is criminal.

Sorry for this pic of Dunham. But it is so liberal!

Can you spell "nauseating"?

No body modifications either!

"Polite People are Useless"

The world and Yemen

It seems worth mentioning that by actually shooting a missile over Japan, North Korea's Kim Jung Un is making a desperate plea for "death by cop" (or in this case, the World's cop). And we're growing more inclined to see his wish granted.

Power Grab

Ah, the bitter irony!

And more bitter irony from these arbiters of morals and international good will.

The further destruction of the Amazon forests.

Artist Comment: Armed Resistance: A negative space cartoon. U.S political consultant Roger Stone Jr. has predicted a new American civil war if Donald Trump is assassinated or impeached.

The Persian cat takes on ISIS.

Artist Comment: Expectant Mother: In a desperate bid to cling to the Iraqi city of Mosul, the Islamic State militant group has recently started forcing dozens of women and girls to become suicide bombers, in some cases pregnant women. Is no-one else angry at this evil perpetrated by ISIS, or is it just me?

Artist Comment: Massacre of the Innocents: Allegations of ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, reports of women and children among more than 100 dead in latest government crackdown. Latest here:

How they see Trump in the European media

Artist Comment: We're frankly enjoying the agonized screams of outrage from the Left over President Trump's pardoning of former sheriff Joe Arpaio for committing blatant, willful acts of law enforcement. The rabid media coverage of this non-event is both terrifying and ludicrous ~ in other words, entirely predictable.

The Washington Post's piece is headlined "What Authoritarianism Experts Think (of Trump's Pardon)," making us wonder who the hell "authoritarianism experts" even are, and what kind of reportage starts with seeking them out for opinions.

Or consider Slate.com's article "Trump's Pardon of Joe Arpaio Is an Impeachable Offense," which relies rather heavily on the hope that readers will only look at the headline, and not the actual story which rapidly falls apart.

It hilariously starts with this absolutely meaningless generalization: "Donald Trump has done many things that, once fully investigated, may prove to be impeachable offenses. We don't yet know all the facts, so final judgment on most of Trump's actions will have to wait."  Wow, we wish we had $10 for every vagary and weasel-word in that statement!

They then dive into the meat of the article: a law professor's theory that the pardon could be an impeachable offense (not "is" as the headline declared), adding that even the law professor "admits that this is a novel theory and, with respect, it simply won't fly." Well that's an interesting nugget to bury in the fine print.

Current estimates are that 11 trillion gallons of rain will fall on Texas because of hurricane Harvey. As nightmarish as this is (and please keep the victims in your thoughts), it's still less than the amount of BS our country is inundated with on a daily basis.

  1. A LiberalLogic101.com cartoon this week implies that Auschwitz is in Germany. It is not. It is in Poland.
