Solstice. The shortest day of the year. Part of our European heritage ~ fire and ice. May all who celebrate this night do so with gusto!
I really don't have much to say; the world chugs along and our leaders continue to disappoint as leaders are wont to do. But, to be honest, I am tired of letting events bring me down any longer; it is good seeing people begin to wake up with this Yellow Vest movement, especially here in Canada of late, but I watch this with a certain wariness, having seen in the past just how skilled at deception our enemies are at weaponizing events in their favour.
Meanwhile, I must get back to stirring the cranberry chutney....

This applies to almost all public figures but here we have it dedicated to our Prime Fool.
I wonder if the artist knew this is the outfit the traitor wore when promoting the UN Migration pact.
A local garden all lit up for Christmas.
One must ask, PhD in WHAT idiocy?
Yikes!
I love this tree of antlers but imagine it is hell to put up and take down.
On the + side, it's been a good year for cartoons...

ReplyDeleteWe can never forget Palestine! And Bonne Noel to you as well. Thank you so much for your comments during the year!
DeleteSome really funny ones this time. I loved the Cannibals taking two refugees a week; the Chinese having a wall and almost no Mexicans . . .
ReplyDeleteand Lynch taking the oath. Others two. It seems like there was a very grim period when I rarely laughed. Merry Christmas.
Did you notice all the spears those cannibals put on the airplane there? The bottom is covered in spears from an overhead flight taken after the Boxing Day Tsunami when they were trying to see if the tribe had survived.
DeletePersonally this has been a very bad year. I pray this coming year will be better but who knows. Love your posts Noor Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a bad year for so many. For me, personal life has been so good in terms of family and health so I basically force myself to be optimistic by not allowing myself to delve as deeply as once I did. Since I cannot control anything far away, it behooves me to concentrate on life under my nose. I do wish you the best, James!
