YOUR SATURDAY CARTOONS: MORE VIRUS STUFF: MARCH 28, 2020

Friends, just take care of yourself and your fam. Despite whatever we are being diverted from by this virus ~ and it is becoming manifest internationally as the agenda unfolds ~ there are health threats. There is a lot of gaiety around, frantic at times, sincere at other times, but this is to be expected as people cope with the deepening stress of this situation we have all so unexpectedly been cast into.

I will say that earlier today I had a deja vu feeling of pre-WW2 America industries shifting to a wartime footing as I watched Canadian and American companies retooling their businesses to produce medical necessities from body suits to face masks to ventilators. It is huge.

Anyhow, there are so many theories about this virus, I am just going to watch from the sidelines because you really never know who to trust. So I choose my sources cautiously and let other folks fight it out.

Starting my third week of isolation; tomorrow I will do a shop and probably be a bit surprised at the changes to be seen in the stores. Not to mention empty shelves. Lots of those last week. Took three grocery stores just to find spring salad greens and pork belly. AH, the First World challenge of it all.

Can anyone recommend something binge-worthy? Please? No Starwars type stuff please.

God willing, we will meet here again next week!

Gentlemen, time to up your game! Immediately I think of Negan as that warlord. Dang it all!

That does not look like a polar bear to me, more like a Russian bear or a Kodiak.

Next life bucket list material.

Yes, she really wore them "in honor of the victims". The woman is loonier than a 'toon.

Nourishment

These termites build mounds that glow in the dark. The anteater is preparing to feast.

BINGO! Make that globally, not just America.

To be honest, all politicians think this way. All Scoundrels think this way.

Clips from The Fall of the Cabal, a series I am just working through.

Words from a Muslim immigrant university professor, recently arrested for terrorist sentiments and activities.

I find it hard to believe she actually said this. Would be good to find a source.

Simply a horrible pun!

This photo takes me on a fantasy ride to a life I have never experienced; looks to be a pretty sweet little ride. You could almost write a story about such an inspiring vehicle.

The wet market "goods" stacked in cages urinating and defecating upon each other in these squalid places.

Smolletting.

Innocence

The hidden story.

Pay attention to this one.

Thanks yet again, Mr. James Perloff for the Gates material!

Meerkat tribe showing us how unity can defeat the deadliest enemy.

Proof that pineapple pizza really IS unnatural!

Sean is beginning to look more and more like his (((family))) as time passes. And to think I once thought he was Irish!

Coronovirus chic.

These idiots are most likely responsible for the outbreak of the virus in the midwest the central US.

Health minister? "non essential sexual activities of persons 3 or greater... " WTH is going on in Belgium?

NYC is in trouble. Screaming for ventilators. DeBlasio trying to make Trump look bad. Is that why he was encouraging people to go out and about as normal a very very short time ago? The people did not use common sense, (Bill has none), and now here they are. DO NOT BLAME TRUMP for this. Sadly, the city brought this upon itself as a result of the encouragement of civic leaders.

Teen Vogue lessons for children. SERIOUSLY! Ideas for how to entertain yourself while under quarantine.

The author of the TinTin and Asterisk books has succumbed to the virus.

Iceberg.

Truly the most spectacular fox ever!

Isolating, Palestinian style.

Another reason to carry hand sanitizers!

Not a soy boy

This is the surface of a peach.

"I know what I got here."

  1. If you can access torrents out there, personally I really enjoyed Last Tango to Hallifax.

Two old codgers meet after 60 years and start a relationship, which brings in the comedic conflicts with all the members of the two families.

The story is based in Yorkshire UK, so the accents might be a bit hard to catch ar first, but you soon settle in.

    Stay strong, stay safe

  3. Good hunting/shopping Noor. Greats posts loved the spider blending with the tree.
Have you heard of Babylon 5? Its a sci fi series from the 90's It was the first to have a story arc that developed over the 5 year run, which other sci fi shows have copied. Enemies become friends and vice versa. The paralells to what happens in the show and post 9/11 is quite uncanny.

  4. " . . . even without proof, you just get that old "Mossad are behind it" feeling . . . ." Oh yes you do !!! Even though those "Wet Markets" are so obviously disgusting & potential breeding grounds for every new viral mutation that one could even think of & that there's no end to the number of (((You Tube))) videos from virologists & medical professionals SCREAMING about these places & the need to shut em down. Keep yourself & yours safe Noor 'til this insanity is over . . . . one way or another ;-) Oh if short of or have no masks found a vid saying that Tellus/Nilfisk vacuum bags are very close to the texture & "germ catch-ability" of medical masks. Out with the sewing machine ya old actually-got-some-skills "boomer"
