AUTUMN BREAK

Just a short message. As you may have surmised by my silence, I am taking a little time off. So very weary of so much same old, same old. So tired of all the same stuff over and over and over again. Break might last maybe a day. Maybe a week. Maybe a month or more, but I doubt that long. But for the moment, just on sabbatical.

The days are noticeably shorter, the morning fog hangs longer. Germs abound everywhere as the climate cools. Already Grandson (pictured below) has made his Grandmother sicker than the proverbial dog. He has figured out how to share deadly germs that laid us all, even the dog, to waste for a week. Do I consider a vaccine considering at one year of age he has already become a germ-pool? Not on your life! Or mine, come to think of it.

All he wants to do is figure out things, like spinning wheels or how drains work. He is such a boy child it is amazing. Not an iota of girl in him! High male energy, inquisitive, sweet of nature. He will crawl after a HotWheels for hours. No interest in stuffed toys, just books and wheels. Mom, with her gender stuff, is getting an education on natural traits.

I hope you and yours are all fine and enjoying the fruits of summer. Coming up is the autumn moon. All is as it should be.

Autumn reminds me that our bodies, minds, and surroundings are always developing. We focus on the impermanence of life ~ remembering how vital it is to embrace the present. We must savor what we have before it is gone. That is what I am doing. Now.

Back soon. Thank you all. You know once the rains set in, I will be back.  Don't forget that my excellent Blog Roll to the right is full of great links to keep you busy!
