'UNDERWEAR BOMBER' SENTENCED TO LIFE IN JAIL

Reader Anonymous below has reminded me that this case was NOT cut and dried. There were, at the time of this event, two lawyers, a couple, who were on the plane.   After reading the fate of this young lost man, check into suppressed witness reports and know, as we have all along, this was a set up.  And... considering that Al Qaeda is a CIA creation, it is impossible to find the truth at the bottom of the cauldron of lies surrounding this dark theatre.

A federal judge in the US has sentenced a Nigerian man to life in prison for attempting to blow up a US airliner bound for Detroit on Christmas day in 2009.

Umar Farouk Abdulmuttalib, 25, had pleaded guilty to eight charges, including the attempted murder of the 289 people on board the Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines flight 253.

"This was an act of terrorism that cannot be quibbled with," said US district judge Nancy Edmunds, who imposed the maximum sentence allowed during the hearing on Thursday.

Abdulmuttalib showed little emotion as the judge handed down the sentence.

"The defendant has stated and it is clear that he has enormous motivation to carry out another terrorist attack," Edmunds said of Abdulmuttalib, who had unsuccessfully attempted to ignite explosives hidden in his underwear while on board the flight three years ago.

The botched attack, which prosecutors say was a plot hatched by the assassinated Muslim leader, Anwar al-Awlaki, sparked global alarm and caused the US to tighten both airport screening systems and no-fly lists.

"This court has no ability to control the defendant's motivation, which does appear to be unchanged, however I can control the defendant's opportunity to carry out those actions," Edmunds said.

Abdulmuttalib had fired his lawyers and chosen to represent himself in the high-profile case. During comments made to the court during Thursday's hearing, he said that the "true crime" was US foreign policy.

"Today is a day of victory and God is great," he said in a brief statement. "In quick response to some of the things that have been said, I say my life and the lives of Muslims have also changed due to the attacks on innocent civilians."

"The mujahadeen are proud to kill in the name of God and that is exactly what God told us to do in the Koran," said the Nigerian.

Cathleen Corken, the prosecutor in the case, told the court ahead of sentencing that life in prison was appropriate.

Corken said Abdulmuttalib "boarded Flight 253 with a cold-blooded calculated plan to murder everyone on it" and would have carried it out if the bomb had detonated.

Despite strict security measures at airports following the attacks of September 11, 2001, Abdulmuttalib was able to smuggle 76 grams of Pentaerythritol tetranitrate, an explosive, on board the flight. His bomb, however, failed to detonate, and only caused a fire as the plane began its descent into Detroit from Amsterdam.

Passengers and crew members restrained Abdulmuttalib and extinguish the fire, allowing the pilots to safely land the plane.

Several of the intended victims of the attack were given the opportunity to speak during Thursday's hearing.

"I've never been that scared in my life and I hope never to be scared like that again," said Lori Haskell, one of those on the flight.
"For weeks after the incident I thought I was in a state of shock... I am thankful I'm still alive but what the defendant did caused lifetime harm to me and everyone else on that plane."

AWLAKI INVOLVEMENT

The involvement of Awlaki, a key al-Qaeda cleric who was killed in a US drone strike in Yemen last year, came to light through a prosecutor's memo made public on Friday, which argued for a stiff sentence to be applied.

Abdulmuttalib told investigators that he had been following Awlaki online for years and traveled to Yemen in August 2009 to seek out the radical US-born cleric.

He was driven through the desert to Awlaki's home after tracking down his cell phone number through visits to mosques and then writing to him about his desire to "become involved in jihad," the memo said.

He stayed with the cleric for three days, and was then taken to see a bomb-maker after he accepted the mission.

The Nigerian then spent two weeks at a training camp where he "received instruction in weapons and indoctrination in jihad" and then Awlaqi hired a "professional film crew" to shoot Abdulmutallab's five-minute martyrdom video.

  1. so, what about the two u.s. attorneys, Mr. and Mrs. Haskell, who both were on the same flight,

and who witnessed this man, before the flight at the ticket counter ... arguing with the ticket agent over his lack of having a passport (eh!?)

then a man, with "an american accent intervened" on behalf of Abdulmuttalib, who was then, strangely allowed to pass through "security checks" and board the aircraft (as Mr. Haskell witnessed)

they also witnessed Abdulmuttalib, shortly after he allegedly "ignited his underwear"; also observed another unidentified man who was video-taping the entire incident (strangely - not seeking cover in the middle of a dangerous situation ...and who later personally harassed Mr.Haskell)

here is a full report, given by Mr. Haskell (not via controlled "alternative" media)

compared to a controlled media's report on Mr Haskell's observations:

and what timing, both immediately after the incident when the now infamous "body scanners"* (porno scan) were ordered into action at airfields all over the u.s.

    * with the former head of "homeland security" and reported to be holding "dual us-israeli citizneship" and the same person who *allegedly* ordered the release of israeli agents -detained on Sept 11, 2001;

not to mention the very coincidental timing of this trial's conclusion (over 2 years after the incident?):

at the same time when Muslim people, are once, again being dehumanized and totally demonized en masse, by the racial-supremacist zionists, via their controlled global media (where is the "canadian human rights commission" when global zionist media is daily, hourly, spewing its vile, unhindered, racist diatribes -while offering ZERO chance for the other sides points of view...(i.e. the definition of brainwashing - one side non-stop lies)?

  2. Thank you for the links and the reminder. I was careless about not reminding my readers about these observers. I remember when it happened, because this young man was a patsy for sure.

  3. actually you're the one who deserves the thanks - for all these works!

works, which remind those the likes of me - about many related events - who only make attempt to add to your work (and thanks for allowing the additions!)

yes, (only my opinion) - that no doubt the man is a patsy (even the controlled "alternative" media elements discuss how mentally challenged the man is, therefore not capable of concocting this incident on his own)

and not even to mention the so many methods to literally mind control any individuals ... to the point they will do anything (and, from personal observation - it is much easier to mind-bend a person with mental disabilities ...worse to realize - is the vile conniving criminals who do this to any human beings or other animals, without a second thought - other than how much money they will be paid for their dirty, evil deeds)

you work very much, but such is the nature of war (and war we are in - make no mistake) - nevertheless, peace, good health and true meaningful fortunes to you!

  4. I honestly do not think he is a real person and is just another actor used to spread fear and help introduce new laws.
