1. We on are the eve of the annual Bacchanalian Zio-Orgy that even Nero would have been in shock and awe over called the AIPAC Annual Policy Conference (COT). In honor of that conference let’s look at a few things both great and small. Consider the items below as pre-orgy appetizers.

A. Andrew Breitbart is dead. Kinda hard to have missed this with all the fawning going on throughout the mainstream media which apparently Infowars has now officially joined. Read this piece by Nimmo. Disgusting.

Here’s my tribute to Breitbart ~ taken from a post I did recently about Dana Loesch who advocates pissing on dead Muslims and was working for Breitbart when she did so.

“Dana Loesch is a college drop-out loudmouth hater of Palestinians and is a blind supporter of Israel. She is the editor of an on-line site called “Big Journalism” run by a right wing Zionist Jew wacko named Andre Breitbart famous for exposing Weiner’s weiner. She is also a self-described “Jesus freak” and home schools her two kids. Having chosen the opposite path of Mr. Caputi, she advocates pissing on dead Muslims after you murder them. Therefore she is qualified to work as a commentator for CNN.”

Maybe I should revise that last sentence to read “is qualified to work as a commentator for CNN and for Infowars.com, but I digress.

B. Remember Edward Mossberg? He’s the New Jersey real estate developer who was charged with all kinds of fraud in New Jersey. We wrote about him a lot here on Mantiq al-Tayr. Well, he’s gotten off Holocaust survivor free even though his cohorts were convicted. Therefore, I suggest he be a speaker at the AIPAC policy conference.

C. Long time featured player on Mantiq al-Tayr, Congressasshole Eliot Engel (Mossad, NY), has come out with a video urging the freeing of Jonathan Pollard. I hope Engel plays this video at the COT this weekend. In fact, I hope that Israeli Vice President for American Affairs (IVPFAA), Barack Sotero, will then come out on stage and announce Pollard’s release and that the resounding cheers will all be recorded so I can play them for you here, but I digress.

Anyway, the video is below. Engel does not just call for Pollard’s sentence to be commuted; he calls for Pollard to be PARDONED. “I believe he should have been pardoned a long time ago.” He adds “I consider myself one of the most pro-Israel members of Congress.” It’s short, watch it and puke.

ED: My tummy is actually in a turmoil just from listening to this schmuck's whining.  They must have a vibrational pitch that makes one feel ill. 

D. The Jerusalem Post, well aware of the AIPAC conference and the fact that Netanyahu will be meeting with the IVPFAA, notes that the Israeli government will be using the occasion of the conference to pressure the living hell out of the so-called US government to release Pollard.

“The campaign to release Jonathan Pollard is heating up again. Next week, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres are set to ask US leaders for clemency for the former US Navy Intelligence analyst who was convicted by a US court of spying for Israel and sentenced to life in prison in 1987.”

E. We here at Mantiq al-Tayr believe that Barry Landau should also be a speaker at the AIPAC COT this weekend. Afterall, he too likes to steal precious American documents and sell them to the highest bidder. Like Pollard he was found with an absolute shitload of stolen documents. According to the report I just linked to the FBI found 10,000 documents in his apartment. They weren’t classified, they were just national treasures. Landau had to plead guilty.

2. Shas Party members must be dancing in the streets. The Israeli government, claiming that its jails are too full (but not too full of Palestinians) has released 600 people. I hope they will all attend the AIPAC COT this weekend, some of them seem well qualified. One is a Shas Party member and former Israeli government minister Shlomo Benizri. He was in jail for accepting bribes but he’s now out.

Also let out of jail is a guy who murdered a Palestinian. Yup. Now the murderer was an Israeli policeman and the victim was a car thief. I don’t have a whole lot of sympathy for thieves of any persuasion. However the circumstances are, well, just a little too fucking typical of Israeli abuse of Palestinians, in this case an Arab citizen of the Jewish State.

A while back, Jonathan Cook reported on the case of Shahar Mizrahi.

“Despite his life never being in danger, Mizrahi had used the butt of his gun to smash the window of a car in which Mahmoud Ghanaim, 24, was seated and shot him in the head from close range. The court also noted that Mizrahi had changed his testimony several times during the investigations.”

Cook added the following interesting info:

“According to Mossawa, an advocacy group, 40 Palestinian citizens have been killed in suspicious circumstances by the security forces over the past decade. Mizrahi is the first policeman to be convicted in such a case.

“As of yesterday, an online petition calling on the Israeli president, Shimon Peres, to pardon Mizrahi had attracted more than 5,000 signatures in a few days, and a Facebook page supporting the policeman had 1,300 fans.”

Could you imagine the outcry if a Muslim policeman in New York City did this to a Jewish car thief? But I digress. Shahar Mizrahi is free now to come to the AIPAC COT, he got out of jail just in time. Bring him on.

3. Mitt Romney, best known for having Walid Phares, a former member of a murderous Lebanese militia as one of his advisors, will also be speaking at the COT.

4. The IVPFAA has just proposed 3.1 billion of your tax dollars for military aid to Israel.

5. Your Congress, hahahahahaha, is considering a bill to strengthen Israeli penetration of the US economy. Hahahaha.

6. Ever heard the term Torah Umadda? Here’s what it means according to Wiki:

All Orthodox ideologies place a high value on ahavat yisrael (love of a fellow ~ individual ~ Jew) and all regard the Land of Israel as holy ~ and residence there as a mitzvah. However, for Centrist Orthodoxy, the “People of Israel”, additionally, play a central role. The resulting difference, relative to other philosophies, manifests in two ways. 

Firstly, involvement with non-orthodox will extend beyond “outreach” ~ in which many Haredi organizations engage ~ to continued institutional relations and cooperation (despite the “deviationist violations of Torah and Halakha” of the non-orthodox). 

Secondly, Centrist Orthodoxy places a high national, as well as religious, significance on the State of Israel. Centrist Orthodox institutions and individuals are therefore Zionist in orientation, and rates of Aliyah (immigration to Israel) from this community are high relative to others;study in Israeli Hesder Yeshivot is also common. Thus, although Centrist Orthodoxy and Religious Zionism are not identical, they share many of the same values and many of the same adherents.

7. Well it’s video time.

Here’s the Maccabeats who started at Yeshiva University singing at last year’s AIPAC COT. You’ll hear the American National Anthem (sung far better than at any football, baseball or basketball game I’ve ever been too), the Israeli National Anthem, and nice Hanukkah song about kicking Greek ass.
