I've found people really hate being told they are not thinking for themselves. Of course this is because they have been brainwashed with stuff like "self esteem training" to believe that every thought they have is their own original idea and since they have no depth of historical knowledge (and don't read anything but pop trash ala "Harry Potter" anymore) they don't realize they are parroting ideas from 100 years ago (furnished to them by "the elders").
Generally these days the reaction of the common sheeple when told they are not thinking for themselves is to watch even more TV so they can "prove you wrong".
