The way the West has portrayed the Russians as the bad guys over the latest Ukraine provocations is sad but predictable.
ReplyDeleteSince 2003 all shipping has to give advance notice of going through the narrow straight, where the bridge now stands. This is because so much traffic enters through.they have to wait for a pilot to come aboard to guide them through as the sea is only eight meters deep.
There are those in the West who have called for the bridge to be blown up as it is part of a long construction linking Crimea to Russia. As those three ships were heading towards the bridge without authorisation and at a fair rate of knots, the Russians should have been commended for not blowing them out of the water as it could have been seen as a military strike.
This December 1, 2018 edition of Snippits and Snappits has a copy of Barry Sotero's Foreign Student college ID. The ID has a barcode. Has anyone ever read that bar code? I couldn't, but I am curious what it says.
