Have a good Thanksgiving weekend, my fellow Canucks. Enjoy what you have and don't think of what is going on in our nation for a short day or two. It will all be waiting here when you get back. What matters are the little things of value in our lives; these are the important ones; family and relationships. Everything else is in flux but family, however you view it, is the most important constant of them all.

 

I will be enjoying a meal in a big gathering of 25, old friends, many of whom I have known for decades, all, I guarantee you, rabid liberals. Not seen them for years due to my zero tolerance for their silliness. But this should be a treat actually, yours truly will be on her best behaviour! I pray there will be a real bird and not that tofurkey stuff.
