Dear Readers, I hope your summer days are long and enjoyable. Not too many bugs and just enough breeze to keep you comfortable. I will leave it to my betters to pontificate about the politics of the day but am glad to offer you a nice collection of material to make your day more complete. That is why I have the Bloglist on the right, for you to find the pontificators. No big names there, just solid material for the main part.
I am getting notes from people taking me to task for my support of Donald Trump, even after these past years of chaos. I am not blind; I know as well as anyone else about his connections with the Jews; mine are not necessarily the same views as most; however, there is still no alternative to Trump on the horizon. I also believe he plays a long game. His accomplishments, no matter what you might think of them, have still brought about great change that has played out well internationally.
When Trump was running, if asked my thoughts on him, my response was that he would disappoint us but that he would also bring about many positive things. A balancing act for humanity. So far this has been how it has gone.
I also post these images because, as I search for material, I look at a lot of stuff and only save the few I find that are not absolutely horrific. If the left cannot meme, it cannot make funny cartoons, just nasty jabs, rarely amusing. Most, despite the artistic skill involved, are puerile, petty and scatological in content.
Democrat in training.
There are millions of these cartoons ~ no exaggeration. It takes a lot of time to find the little I offer here in my small attempt to balance the scales.
Sunday morning update. I was just banned from Twitter for awhile. Did I tweet horrific comments about pedophilia? Did I use horrific words or threaten to kill someone? Nope. I called Sarah Silverman a "skank". I was banned within five minutes!

Cars from my childhood. Uncle George drove one of these.
Save this for your files if you are a history buff.
Stilton Says:
The Democrats are growing in confidence (okay, technically it's arrogance) regarding November's mid-term elections, and it's not surprising. According to allegedly unbiased news outlets, the United States has fallen under Russian control, Trump is stuffing weeping immigrant children into concentration camps, rising employment numbers are a "trick" that voters shouldn't be fooled by, and Western Civilization itself is on the verge of collapse because the President asked NATO members to start actually paying their dues.

Adding to the Democrats' cockiness about a "Blue Wave" coming to the
polls is the knowledge that their party has a deep bench of exciting
politicians who youthful, energetic voters naturally gravitate to. This
would include swinging hipsters with fresh ideas like Nancy Pelosi,
Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, Joe Biden and more!
So really, the only missing piece of the puzzle heading into the
mid-terms was for the Democrats to come up with a really great slogan
which would not only encapsulate their broad vision for America's
future, but also represent a strong call to action for an energized
electorate.
And that slogan is...is..."For the People."
Hmmmm.
Not only is it more than a little vague, it's more than a little familiar. In fact, the phrase has been stolen outright from a famous quote by a Republican.
Specifically Abraham Lincoln who, in his Gettysburg Address, referred
to an ideal government "of the people, by the people, and for the
people."
That's a damn good phrase as it stands, so why would the Democrats cut anything out of it? And the answer is they have to because they only believe in one third (or less) of what Honest Abe was espousing.
"Of the people" refers to legislators who are ordinary citizens from
many walks of life. People bringing their different experiences together
to form a miniaturized representation of the country as a whole. People
who intend to return to "real life" after political service, rather
than choosing to become a permanent part of a ruling class entirely
divided from the peons. "Of the people" was never intended to mean
lawyers, millionaires, and sleazy power brokers of the kind that
populate the Democratic halls of power. So that part of Lincoln's wisdom had to go.
"By the people" refers to the fact that for a representational
government to work, those sent to Washington should be chosen by their
fellow citizens in honest elections. But "honest elections" are hardly
what the Democrats are looking for. Between Hillary buying the
DNC in order to sabotage Bernie Sanders, rampant voter fraud, an
ideologically corrupt press, and billion-dollar ad campaigns spreading
wild and pernicious lies, it becomes clear that the DNC can't trust a
government selected "by the people" to be what they want. So another part of Abe's idiom got the axe.
Which leaves only "For the people" ~ the vaguest part of the triumvirate
as it is entirely subjective, and doesn't so much mean that those in
Washington are serving the electorate, but rather ruling them for their own benighted good.
Put it all together, and you have a party whose politicians are not
representative of the American body as a whole, and who are put into
office through questionable methods that try to sidestep the annoying
meddling of actual American voters. And all so that those Democrats who do become fixtures in the halls of profit and power can do whatever they believe is best "for" the common people whether it helps those people or not.
So we think the Dems have rather missed the mark with this not-so-catchy
"new" slogan, and think that truth in advertising demands they instead
use the alternative mentioned by Schumer in today's cartoon: same
slogan, different f-word.

Just this week fools were talking like this!
Considering the similarities of today to the French Revolution, and there are many, this is possibly one of the best character portraits of Mad Max ever. Les Tricoteuse knit red caps for those they deemed patriots. They also turned in many victims to the guillotine as traitors; they sat and knit by the guillotine all through the beheadings, often leading the mob to violence. Pets of Robespierre; they are partly responsible for the situation in France today.
Best cheap laugh you're going to find today.
I have kept this cartoon hidden in my folders for several years now, not sure how appropriate it was to post. Also I feared offending some friends and acquaintances. Now, considering all the grooming gang scandals in Great Britain, it is time for a little shock treatment. When dealing with some crimes, and this is huge, delicacy becomes inappropriate. This image represents the true state of affairs in England for the victims and their families. Actually it is much worse.
I have discovered a photographer, a European woman who speaks quaint English. Her large volume of work is exquisite. Let me know if you would like to see more of her material please.
The Baldachin of St. Peter's Cathedral
Castle Meur: In northern Brittany, near "Plougrescant", not far from the "Côte Granit
Rose", a beautiful hike leads through a magnificent natural paradise. Passing
the Gouffre (a small gorge which, due to its orientation to the west
mostly is washed up by the sea especially wildly), you reach the "House
between the Rocks". It is a private property and is actually
built between two rocks on a narrow strip of sand to the canal. Not for
nothing the most photographed house of Brittany! This is a wonderful area for walks in natural surroundings. The landscape is a dream.
Noor: From what we know of my mother's family history, my ancestors could have farmed near this castle.
The Friedrichwerder Church, this dark red brick building, market
originated in 1824/28 after plans of Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the
Werderschen. It is one of the nicest and construction ~ historically most
important churches of Berlin. With this building to melt tried Schinkel
architectural styles of the German classicism with the new Gothic.
During
the Second World War the church burnt out. Because of the high repair
costs only the facade was restored in the years 1982/87 faithfully and
was opened on the occasion of the annual celebration 750 of Berlin in
1987 as a branch of the national gallery.
Showpiece is the gypsum
model of the princess's group of Johann Gottfried Schadow which stands
in the original in the old national gallery. This statue counts to the
highlights of the European classicism. Crown princess Luise and her
sister Friederike, closely embraced, in youthful beauty. Queen Luise
already passed away at the age of 34 years.

This is Dresden. The words of this artist are quite interesting when taken in historical context ~ especially if you remember scenes from Hellstorm!
At the Palace Square in Dresden, directly between the Royal Palace and
Stable court, paves the way from Prague Street extended on the Augustus
Bridge to the main road through this beautiful gate. The old city exit
to the bridge over the Elbe, the fortification Elbtor the city was
rebuilt from 1530 to 1535 by master builder Bastian Kramer under the
Bauintendantur by Hans von Dehn-Rothenfels called to Geor. It was the
first Renaissance building in Dresden. In the figures, especially topics
related to religion and life and death again.
Till the middle of
the 16th century taking place traffic was interrupted by bricking up.
Zertört became the construction by the castle fire in 1701. Then
seventeen years later it originated in new shine and the Georgenbau it
was equipped with health resort-princely or royal rooms.
In the
middle of 19 centuries one carried out a heightening and the equipment
of the small ballroom. The front was reshaped after a little while in
the style of the neorenaissance. The last Saxon king Friedrich August
III inhabited the Georgenbau till 1918.
Once more the Georgentor was
destroyed during the air raids on Dresden in February, 1945. Then in the
sixties it was rebuilt, besides, changed, nevertheless, again. The
construction of the south side was held at that time very simple. Now
the missing jewellery elements are appropriated bit by bit again to the
early days facade.

This POS also pulled a stunt on Ron Paul in which he lied to punk him. The whole situation was shady and reeked of a set up.
"So there was some dishonesty getting me into the interview, I was expecting an interview on Austrian economics. That didn't turn out that way.
By the time he (Cohen) started pulling his pants down, I was like what on earth is going on here and I ran out of the room. This interview had ended."
This Jew could pass as a sibling of Abbie Hoffman, the infamous Jewish member of the Chicago 7, instigator, and author of "Steal This Book".
Is "knockout" a new code word for "blinding"?
Note the double standard here.
The responsible parties are having a great backlash ~ and upset about that. The owner of the building, a decent fellow who knew nothing about this image, began to receive the usual threats. The image was removed quickly upon his demand. Meanwhile the gallery has found other outlets for this obscenity and are shocked at the public reaction to the work. These people do not seem to understand that when you post an image killing the leader they elected, they might feel a tad threatened!
Yay, Satan. This is what lost looks like.
Real or fake? I am saying fake, just because of the teeth.
The natural reaction of this child to such dissonance.
Hitler knew that getting the children involved was essential to bring about permanent change.
John Cleese would know about these things. He is so sick of what England has become he has set things in motion to leave the country permanently.
Only a survivor of abuse could have this insight.
Mr. Gunn has been abusing small children for years. His fans are upset he lost his job. I imagine he is a victim himself, but still, no mercy for such filth.
