Alabama Removes Child from Michigan Family Found With Marijuana

ED Noor: Canada has its problems. But this would never happen here. Total insanity, over-reach and criminal on behalf of the officials of Alabama. There is no justification for such illegal actions by state considering the circumstances. None, whatsoever.

In the United States, recreational use of cannabis is legalized in 19 states and the District of Columbia while another 13 states have decriminalized its use. In other states like Alabama, however, cops still viciously seek out those who would dare possess and ingest a plant that has never killed anyone. Now, because tyrant drug warriors are still addicted to kidnapping, caging, and killing people over this plant, a couple ~ who lives in a legal marijuana state ~ had their child stolen from them for travelling to the non-legal state of Alabama.

In March, Erika Prock left her home in Michigan to drive to Alabama and pick up her husband from his family’s home. She had her 18-month old son with her for the trip. After grabbing her husband Todd Prock, the two began their journey back to Hillsdale, Michigan but would never make it.

While stopped for lunch, a “hero” officer claimed to smell weed on Todd Prock’s breath and used this as probable cause to search the couple’s car. The Procks, who live in a recreationally legal state had marijuana in their trunk which set off a series of events akin to a scene out of 1930s Germany.

Though Todd Brock admitted that he smoked marijuana, Erika was completely sober and had been for over two years as she is a recovering addict. Nevertheless, police kidnapped their son and put him into foster care where he remains today.

“They just ripped him away from me,” she said. “It was like he was being kidnapped.”

As she sat in the back of the squad car while police kidnapped her son and handed him off to a social worker, Prock tried alerting the social worker to her son’s medical conditions. As she explained his conditions and begged the social worker to call her mother, the kidnapping cops had enough and rolled up the window.

“That’s the first thing that’s in my head,” Prock said. “What if he goes there and they don’t know and he’s sleeping and stops breathing and dies? I mean, horrible thoughts go through my head because of what we have been through. I have a little bit of PTSD from it.”

The couple was subsequently charged with felony chemical endangerment ~ a law used to target parents who run meth labs with children near them. According to the law, a person commits the felony if he or she “knowingly, recklessly, or intentionally causes or permits a child to be exposed to, to ingest or inhale, or to have contact with a controlled substance, chemical substance, or drug paraphernalia.”

No one ever, including children, in the history of the world, has ever been harmed from being near, touching, or otherwise smelling the cannabis plant. Despite these facts, the drug warrior state of Alabama has placed the couple’s child in foster care as they seek to lock the couple up for years. In fact, this law has been used to tear children away from multiple families in the state who have been caught with this plant ~ a disgusting travesty indeed.

Had the couple been in Michigan, this would have been a non-issue.

“If we could have taken our situation and transported it to Michigan, we would have been on our way,” Erika Prock said. “None of this would have happened. Nothing. Like absolutely nothing.”

The state of Alabama is not sympathetic.

“Although an officer may exercise discretion,” Lawrence County District Attorney Errek Jett, whose office is handling the case, told AL.com, “there is no provision under the laws of Alabama to permit possession of marijuana if the individual is from a state where it is lawful.”

For now, the Procks are living in a tent behind Erik’s family’s home, fighting to get back their child.

“I am a recovering addict and I just want to do something about this,” Prock said. “Because what if this happens to somebody else and they’re a recovering addict and they’re not strong enough to stay clean. And they end up relapsing, or even worse, dying or overdosing and then a child is without a mother because Alabama is so just over-killing with that charge and taking children.”

Hopefully, this couple gets their baby boy back soon as other couples who have had their children taken over marijuana have experienced living nightmares. Alexandria Hill, a 2-year-old little girl, was taken from her father because he used marijuana to treat his seizures. Her father, Joshua Hill told a case worker with Child Protective Services that he would smoke marijuana after little Alexandria would go to sleep at night to treat his medical condition.

The state immediately kidnapped Alexandria and placed her in foster care to “protect” her from her father using a plant to treat his seizures. While under the state’s “protection” she would be brutally murdered less than six months later.

Just because Ontario had a win with Doug Ford does not mean the path to removing Trudeau and his ilk will be smooth.

Over packaging. This client ordered one gram of two different types of marijuana. This was the packaging. For TWO grams of weed. The packaging must give warnings, be child proof, contamination proof and also keep the weed dry. Sigh. This is what happens when the government gets involved.

The story itself is tragic: a harmless 72-year-old man in India was innocently collecting a few pieces of dried wood when enraged monkeys in a nearby treetop started pelting him with actual bricks ~ sadly with deadly accuracy. The old gentleman died of multiple head and chest injuries, quite possibly with a look of horror on his face that this time more than monkey flop was being flung.

While it might not immediately seem that there is much for us to learn from this incident, other than that monkeys should have to go through background checks and a waiting period before getting their wiry little hands on bricks, we actually think the incident has strong parallels to what is currently happening in our own country.

Specifically, this angry mob of monkeys puts us in mind of the angry mobs of Leftists who are getting increasingly vocal, aggressive, and confrontational in streets, restaurants, and government buildings. Although fortunately, being basement dwellers, most Antifa types have no tree-climbing skills, and lack the upper body strength to actually lift a brick ~ let alone throw it farther than the toe of their Doc Martens.

Consider this: in India, the monkeys are considered sacred and are coddled for their entire worthless lives. Any mischief they get up to, apparently including murder, is quickly forgiven. Besides, how can you tell one monkey from another? Meanwhile in the United States, the Leftists promoting street violence are also products of privilege, raised with neither discipline nor a sense of responsibility. Like the monkeys, they gather in mobs and take efforts to make sure that they all look so much alike that no one can tell them apart.

Then there are the more obvious comparisons, the first of which is that both murderous monkey mobs and Antifa protesters are little assholes who want to raise Hell just for the fun of it, with no ability to actually communicate intelligibly what it is they actually want (other than mayhem). Another is that both groups choose victims who are essentially helpless; as a case in point, just look at the Antifa protester in Portland, Oregon who told a widow that her deceased husband, a police officer killed in the 9/11 attacks, was a "sodomizer" who should "rot in the grave."

Remarkably, this little feces-flinger's attitude changed completely when confronted by an actual alpha male ~ the widow's son. He turned tail and ran, shamed in front of the other anarchy monkeys, and thus unlikely to ever get an opportunity to breed.

There are surely other similarities between the simians and the simpletons, but we don't have enough Jane Goodall in us to bother sorting it all out. Suffice it to say that the potential danger from both kinds of pests will only diminish when people decide they've had enough.

Later today, Donald Trump will be appearing in Houston, Texas to campaign for Ted Cruz, who is in a pitched senatorial battle with Democrat "Beto" O'Rourke ~ a full blooded Irishman who identifies as being Hispanic. Cruz is still enjoying a lead in the polls, despite unprecedented millions of dollars flowing into O'Rourke's campaign from sources outside Texas (and none of which sources want anything good to happen to Texas).

It is not so much their being elderly and White, it is the fact they are corrupt and totally out of touch with the world.

For a few weeks now I have been gathering images and information on FGM. The following is a powerful series against this crime. Actually, wherever there is immigration, this goes on. Even our Canadian Prime Minister is soft on the issue despite his so-called feminist stance. Both the Canadian and American flags deserve the following treatment since this barbaric practice goes on in North America far more than most of us might think. 

Everyone agrees that ending the ancient practice of foot-binding in imperial China was  a good thing. Painful, disabling, foot-binding was horrific, yes, but not nearly as dangerous as FGM. I believe that if we could put an end to foot-binding well over a century ago, eradication of FGM is not an impossible goal. This is the type of feminism I believe is important; not going in and changing an entire culture, but ending something so primitive. And keeping it out of my own land!

It is partly a generational thing but I have had to do some fast studying to understand this NPC situation that is raging. I mean, we all know the Left cannot meme and are, by their very nature, afraid to be amusing without vitriol; not a gamer, I had to learn the origins of NPC then collect some examples to best understand.
