IRAQ PROPAGANDA REGURGITATED FOR FUTURE WAR WITH SYRIA

This is the same game plan used in the illegitimate war waged on Libya not too long ago. And if that technique was not familiar then it should have been. This same smear campaign and manipulated propaganda was part of the warm up to Iraq; this is an old familiar technique of citizen brainwashing.
.

1. Claim nation’s leader is a tyrannical dictator (usually means he isn’t following the kosher ways; in Ghaddafi’s case he had his nation debt free and self sufficient)

2. Create outright lies that they have something like weapons not *approved* of by America/Israel (I know the arrogance huh?):
Syria has begun moving its chemical weapons stockpile out of storage, U.S. warns:
~ Syria has undeclared arsenals of sarin nerve agent, mustard gas, cyanide

~ U.S. officials fear Assad may want to use weapons against rebels or civilians

~ Others believe he is trying to safeguard stockpile from his opponents
Syria has started to move part of its chemical weapons arsenal out of storage facilities, according to U.S. officials.

The country’s undeclared stockpiles of sarin nerve agent, mustard gas and cyanide have long worried the U.S. officials and its allies in the region, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Western nations have looked for signs amid the rebellion against President Bashar al-Assad’s government of any change in the location of those weapons, believed to be the world’s largest stockpile.

American officials are divided on the reason for moving the arsenal.

Some fear Assad may want to use the weapons against rebels or civilians, while others said perhaps he is trying to safeguard them from his opponents.

U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, travelling with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Phnom Penh, said: ‘We repeatedly made it clear that the Syrian government has a responsibility to safeguard its stockpiles of chemical weapons.’

She added that ‘the international community will hold accountable any Syrian officials who fail to meet that obligation’.

The Syrian government denied chemical stockpiles have been moved, the Journal said.

Syria is one of eight states ~ along with Israel and nearby Egypt ~ that have not joined the 1997 Chemical Weapons Convention, which means the world’s chemical weapons watchdog has no jurisdiction to intervene there.

The Assad government has in the past denied having weapons of mass destruction.

The development comes a day after more than 250 Syrians were reportedly killed after a village was shelled and stormed by pro-government forces.

The massacre in the Sunni Muslim village Taramseh, Hama province, would be the worst yet since a rebellion against the rule of Assad began 17 months ago.

Civilians were allegedly killed ‘execution-style’ with shots to the head while others were shelled by tanks and helicopter gunships as their homes were burned down.

The Revolution Leadership Council of Hama said Taramseh was subjected to a barrage before pro-government Alawite militiamen swept in and killed victims one-by-one.

There were reports of bodies scattered in the surrounding fields, rivers and houses, with around 60 corpses were taken to a mosque.

Fadi Sameh, an opposition activist from Taramseh, left the village before the killings but was in touch with residents.

He said: ‘It appears that Alawite militiamen from surrounding villages descended on Taramseh after its rebel defenders pulled out, and started killing the people.

‘Every family in the town seems to have members killed. We have names of men, women and children from countless families.’

Massacre: More than 250 Syrians were killed yesterday when the village of Tremseh was shelled and stormed by what are thought to have been pro-government forces

Ongoing conflict: Smoke hovers above Homs after the city was shelled earlier this week

A detailed account by activists said a convoy of 25 vehicles carrying army and security forces, three armoured vehicles and five trucks mounted with artillery passed west through the town of Muharda and headed toward the village of Tremseh.

One reason given for the massacre was that government troops were attempting to take back the village from opposition hands.

Other reports said the village school was destroyed, and one of the victims was a doctor shot dead as he tried to help the wounded.

Death tolls are almost impossible to verify in Syria, but activists say more than 17,000 people have been killed since the uprising began.

3. Send in armed, military trained troops and claim they are native ‘rebels’ helping overthrow a repressive regime.

10,000 ARMED MEN ENTER SYRIA FOR CIVIL WAR

An estimated 10,000 armed men equipped with highly-sophisticated weapons, including anti-tank missiles, have reportedly entered Syria to help fuel the unrest in the country, Press TV has learned.

Informed sources in the Qusayr village in Homs say the terrorists crossed into Syria from the Lebanese border and that they have taken positions in the suburbs of the restive city.

Meanwhile, Syrian forces are still tracking armed groups fighting against the government of President Bashar al-Assad across the country.

Syrian authorities say while the Joret al-Shayyah neighborhood in Homs has been cleared of armed groups and calm has been restored in the area, clashes are still ongoing in al-Hamidiye, al- Khalidiya and Homs’ old neighborhood.

Syrian forces have also discovered the decomposing remains of nine people in the Karam Zaytoon district of Homs, who were killed by armed men.

Syrian forces also managed to retake control of Damascus suburb of Douma, forcing the armed men to flee the region. The Arab country’s authorities say the armed groups are using ”scorched earth policy” and they destroy the area they held before retreating.

Syria has been experiencing a deadly unrest since mid-March 2011. The violence has claimed the lives of many people, including large numbers of security forces.

While the West and the Syrian opposition say the government is responsible for the killings, Damascus blames ”outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist gangs” for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.

4. Supply these so called “rebels” with arms:
SYRIA: REBELS USE ISRAELI ARMS

Syrian media outlets reported Friday that President Bashar Assad‘s security forces seized huge quantities of weapons used by rebels across the country, including Israeli-made arms.

According to the unconfirmed reports, Assad’s troops seized a machinegun, Israeli-made bombs, automatic rifles, various explosive devices, protective vests, night-vision equipment and military uniforms, among other things.

Syrian television showcased the weapons Friday evening and claimed that some of the arms originated in Israel. Some of the weapons featured Hebrew inscriptions, yet it was unclear who was holding the arms and where the images were photographed.

The latest Syrian reports are apparently meant to discourage anti-Assad rebels and present them as traitors who enlist the help of the “Zionist enemy” in their battle against President Assad.

Notably, this was not the first time that images of weapons allegedly produced by Israel emerged during the so-called “Arab Spring.” In previous cases, both government forces and rebels used such images to portray their foes as traitors.

Last year, shortly after the beginning of the Libyan uprising against Muammar Gaddafi’s rule, rebels presented weapons they claimed originated in Israel and were used by Gaddafi’s forces.

Makes you wonder if European nationalists supplied ‘American rebels’ with guns, bombs and rocket launchers and these ‘American rebels’ were trying to overthrow the oppressive Obama/Jewish regime would the international community see fit to assist help overthrow it?

Out of many reasons Syria must be taken down I found one quite interesting. One of the largest and long lasting parties in Syria is open National Socialist with very similar policies that were instituted in NSDAP Germany. Here is that party’s flag, you tell me what is resembles other than a ninja star, lol:
