ALTERNATIVE SATURDAY CARTOONS: MARCH 7, 2015

 

Since these Saturday Alternative cartoons seem to be a bit of a hit, I wondered if you viewers would like accompanying links to some of the topics they touch upon?  Some of the newer foreign sources I have found require that touch since the image often needs a little explanation or what the artist calls “The Pitch”. Cutting Cartoonists

Coming soon ~ THE BIBI-TOON SPECIAL! ~ When I was collecting for this week I found so many images of Bibi that his smug ugly mug dominated the entire collection. Well, in  appreciation of the fact that many of you have a drink or a nosh as you sit viewing ~ well a tummy can only take so much! With that in view I opened a folder dedicated only to Mr. Bibzy and will put it together very very soon. Actually I think this might be fun ~ the hard part will be protecting tummies and keeping the gore down. So stay tuned! He is the man of the moment and he has provided us with so much deadly entertainment that I feel he deserves something very special. So, stay tuned.

The artist touches upon so many issues with this cartoon that it is hard to know where to begin ~ apathy, transgender issues, social manipulation, simple black humour, to start the discussion.

The state of American culture. It took me a moment to get past the brainless huddle (unless those are educational devices in their hands) to notice where they were.
