HOLIDAY UPDATE

I had a problem dismounting my bike on Friday and ended up with my arm hanging in a sling for a month or so. Swimming is an impossibility for some time which does upset me a tad. And my bike is a bit messed up.

Our medical emergency service is the best ~ I do not tend to be stoic when I have a dis-clocated joint but they had me feeling very little pain, fixed up, and home again within a few (eternal) but very short hours. Apparently I kissed my daughter's employer and asked him to share a bowl of whatzit with me.

What can I say, we parents these days are just plain embarrassing ~ albeit lovable ~ at times!
Politics? The world? For the past four days I have been lost in a medically induced haze of opiates and upon awakening see that nothing seems to have changed much except the stress level is just that much higher.  I'll let you guys deal with that ~ arm in a sling or not, I am still on sabbatical.

I began taking Diatomaceous earth the same day of my accident so it will be interesting to see how this effects my healing.

Anyhow here are a few photos. There are too many, I really hardly know where to begin. Results are inconsistent. Please enlarge.

  2. Oh boy, I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm glad I am able to drive my car and not have to balance on a motor cycle. I think I'd be lost. Thank you for these pictures and a speedy recovery. Gute Besserung!

  4. That's too bad about your arm. Can't wash dishes can you? heh. I am on hiatus myself. Just have my mind on what's in front of me lately, so many things. Sometimes I want to say "don't you all know there's a world going on out there?!" Like, don't trap me with the mundane day to day living stuff! lol. Noor, get well and enjoy the simple things.
