More War on Christmas: The Virgin’s Purity Offends Rape Victims

One of Caravaggio’s many magnificent paintings celebrating the pure beauty of Mary and the newborn Christ child.

Is this a fresh approach to the war on Christmas?  This year the Left’s annual War on Christmas has taken a bizarre turn with a Washington Post op-ed claiming that the Virgin Mary’s purity is offensive to victims of rape. The headline from the Washington Post reads:
“Our culture of purity celebrates the Virgin Mary.
As a rape victim, that hurts me.”

The author writes:

Still, I study her this time of the year,
always dressed in blue with downcast eyes, and want to ask:

“How was it really? And how do you feel about what the patriarchy has done with you?”

What better time of year to blame Virgin Mary for rape victims feeling badly; you can’t make this nauseating yidiocy up. Well, apparently you can, because this woman did, and then the Washington Post published it. In today’s episode of The Oppression Olympics, writer Ruth Everhart asks “What can I moan about to really get my personal victim party into full swing”?

Sometimes it really is not wise to work out your personal issues in such a public forum. Is that not asking for attention and more affirmation of a self-manufactured victim status?

Other rape survivors may find such a correlation not only ridiculous, but painful.  This “Pastor” insists on holding on to her initial outrage and feeling of impurity and expects everyone to care? Not meaning to come across as insensitive to her trauma, but that is her problem, not ours!  And how can one be a proper “pastor” in the Christian religion if one has such amazingly powerful negative reactions to the very beliefs upon such religion is primarily founded?

I honestly see this as another attempt to defile the beauty of the Christmas season, in this case by a woman who clings to her darkness, not a good trait for a Christian pastor! And so continues the war on Christmas.  I smell the feculent odor of the Talmudics nearby. If your stomach is strong, your desire for masochism strong, and you wish to read more, the article is Here.

What do you think?

  1. Download the .pdf or buy the hard copy 4 volume set of Anne Catherine Emmerich's work. Christ told her she was the most powerful of any visionary ever. Her work was used in making The Pssion of the Christ. Born September 8, 1774, she lived for years on the host only and received the stigmata. She was an invalid. I have been reading her work all year and am at the very beginning of vol. 3. You will learn TONS about all the persons mentioned in any account of the history of Christ you have received thus far - her work starts before Adam and Eve. My reason to mention it here is that you will learn how Christ was born. You will learn the origin of the races and associated activities - what she saw. You will learn a ton about the jews; you will see up close and personal TONS AND TONS of details about Christ and how he handled things, as well as... well I could go on and on. You will not be able to stop reading. As to how it all got written down: a well-known contemporary of hers devoted his life, once he saw what was going on, to taking down what she said. Her abilities go far beyond anyone's today in terms of observation, analysis. This will ROCK YOUR WORLD permanently. Many well known persons have weighed in on it. She was born in Germany. Simply search her name. Here's the link for the .pdf:
I prefer the hard copy from TAN Books, though.
