SATURDAY CARTOONS: UNVAXXED LIVES MATTER!: AUGUST 7, 2021

I am just going to jump in and throw things at you no holds barred. As always a few things to read through with some crumbs of wisdom and insight to adapt or ponder upon. Meanwhile, it is cherry season. Eat a few bowlfulls. Heading to the fridge now at 12:15 am. I now look at things as, "this might be the last time that....". So enjoy the fruits of summer along with your nears and dears.

Thanks again for all your kind words. I hope you, dear reader, just felt the glow of love I put out for you all.

I'm Nobody!

A hot young John Wayne. Who knew?

I'd like to "play with that Senator Scott Weiner too!"

One of his first laws upon being made PM was to legalize such sordid activities:

Oh, my, goodness! They are really saying this?:

Cossack Male. When men were, uhm, tough.

Cuomo is being sacrificed to make the Dems APPEAR to be doing something. The focus on this story has been his sexual predations which will always work if hammered home by the media. This draws away from his incompetence and murderous actions during Covid and other Democratic failures for this issue. Tossing this piece of rotten bait to the dunghill where he belongs is all about media and distraction. It certainly has nothing to do with ethics. Think of Biden and Tara Reade. I got suspicious when, looking for material to post, there were HUNDREDS of cartoons on him. I kept the number down but the media is hard at work pointing attention to that creature. Why? What are they avoiding? International messes the US is involved in? Election fraud? Choose ... so many options.

Time to crack your cuteness meter:

Rotgut 60's weed. Everyone had a lozenge tin like this back in the day.

Hey, boys. Check THIS out!

Even when I knew the world was changing in such ways, so many losses of just the little things, I realized that my descendants would never know many of the freedoms I took for granted. They would not even have a CONCEPT of many of these things! They would not understand how tight the noose has become because all ideas of life without it cannot even be conceived!

This person had to spend a few days in a Japanese hospital. She photographed the regular meals and snacks she was served. When I was in hospital last year, I got a half banana, browned, wrapped in saran wrap and a soggy muffin and if I did not request butter there was none. :

  1. Thanks again for sharing another Sat. morning together.... you brought some interesting topics for discussion, sister. Oddly enough I was playing a Solitudes called Rocky Mountain Suite and my mind kept drifting away. I realized last week, when you included a shot from Salt Spring Island, that I last visited Van and Salt Spring when Expo was on. Bittersweet realization, too... first day of holiday with new girlfriend who lived in Van, left to my own devices at Expo, got soaked on the log ride, spied the Bavarian Gardens boasting a special on apple schnapps and Lauwenbrau. I barely made it back to her place, passed out on her bed almost immediately, and then had a dream I was standing at a urinal and relieving myself... that was day one of our 5 day holiday. Thanks again, sister! Be Well.

  2. Great post Noor, enjoyed reading the words of the Tecumseh Indian chief. Your other posts about more to life brought this poem by William Henry Davies to mind.

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Thanks again for you posts, Keep well.

  4. Not sure what that goopy stuff was on the breakfast, either.

But I often make Eggs "Benedict" with biscuits, poached eggs, and Sausage Gravy. Heavy on the Sausage! Mine often looks like that.

    And it is GOOOOOD!!
