If I were a transgender, this would disgust me! I have known a few transgender people over the decades. They were thrilled to go from sorta ugly little guy to dowdy woman and just live their own quiet lives. This sort of thing would tick them off for the attention and derision it draws to what they feel is already a difficult process for them. The laws themselves make Canada a laughing stock. Why is this allowed? Because normal people are afraid of the backlash.

When I was a kid, lunch was sometimes Mom's beans on buttered brown toast. Of course Mom's beans were not this slop. and got us through the afternoon in class very well.
