- Jesus is considered one of the greatest prophets and messengers of God in Islam. There is an entire chapter in the Quran about Jesus and his mother Mary. The Quran teaches that everything that Jesus preached is the message given to him by God and must be respected by all Muslims.
- Jesus is
the most quoted prophet in the Quran, 25 times. Moses is the most mentioned,
140 times. Mohammad is mentioned in passing only 4 times as the Quran was
being dictated to him by God through the angel Gabriel.
- Jesus is the
Messiah in Islam, not Mohammad. Mohammad spoke of the return
of Jesus to earth to save the world. This prophecy is contained in The Haidths
(sayings) of Mohammed and talks about how Jesus will look like, be
dressed and where he shall appear.
- Jesus prayed several
times a day at the same time and always touched his head to the floor. Mohammed took after this example
as his wife took after Mary and how she dressed. All Muslims prays this
way and touch their heads to the floor as per the example originally set
"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed" Matthew 26:39
- Jesus mentioned the
coming of Mohammed by name in the Bible. "I will ask the Father, and
he will give you another comforter to be with you always; the Spirit of
truth, which the world cannot accept, because it neither sees nor knows
it." John 14:15-21 The word "comforter" is a translation of
the name Ahmed which in Aramaic and Arabic is the root of Mohammed and
means "one who gives comfort and heals" In older translations of
the new Testament the original name was present but has long since been
translated into the root meaning of the word.
- Mohammad considered
Jesus his spiritual brother and in Medina where Mohammad is buried is place that
is being saved for when Jesus returns, lives out his life and dies
naturally. Mohammed will not be returning to Earth according to Islam.
- The Quran tells the
story of the birth of Jesus and that he was indeed born of a virgin. He performed his first miracle
less than an hour old when he spoke to defend his mother's chastity.
- Jesus is given an
even higher place in Islam than Christianity. It was revealed in the Quran that
Jesus was never killed, but raised up alive for the Messiah cannot be
harmed. This is also backed up by the Gospel
of Barnibas, which states that no nail may ever touch the Messiah.
When defamatory cartoons of Jesus were displayed to school children it was
that protested to protect the dignity of Jesus not Christians.
- Muslims call Jesus
by his true name, the same name his disciples used and they also name
their children after him. That name is Esa. This is his name in Arabic, which
has not changed for 1400 years as well as Aramaic which is the language
Jesus spoke. This is the language spoken in the movie The Passion of
Christ. Some Christians call Jesus Yeshua, believing that this was his
name in Hebrew. Yeshua is an acronym in Hebrew for a curse meaning
"he whose name must never be spoken" This is what the Pharisaic
rabbis called Jesus out of hatred, not an actual name.
- Muslims do believe that Jesus was born of a virgin but they do not call him or anyone else a "son" of God because it is stated by Jesus himself in the Gospel of Barnibas and in the Quran that idolatry is the greatest sin. To believe that God would need to create off spring lowers the image of God in the eyes of many Muslims so they never associate God with anything other than God. Jesus himself also chided Peter for calling him the "son of God" The bible no where calls Jesus the Son of God, but the Son of Man. The bible also calls Adam the Son of God.
- There is no
compulsion in Islam. Meaning no one can ever force anyone to convert or
even preach to them, they must come of their own free will at their pace
if they ever choose to at all. Certainly they can leave anytime as well.
- Islam spread by
Islam went from one man Mohamed (phub) to spreading all over the Middle
East in less than 100 years. This was accomplished via trade. The Muslims
laws of barter were so fair and just that people loved to trade with
Muslims as they always got a fair deal. This left such good impressions
with people that many naturally became curious about Islam and followed
the good examples of others.
- The Quran's most
violent quote is "If you are attacked by the enemy then kill them,
but if they stop attacking then you must also cease to attack and make
Islam also bans attacking women and children, only combatants may be
harmed. Mohammad and his followers stuck to this to the shock of the world
around them and still won. Mohammad only fought 2 battles and only in
defense. Islam is the most peaceful religion there is. Contrast this to
the Old Testament that advocates massacres of innocents.
- In Islam both women
AND men must dress modestly, whatever that is is open to interpretation. Muslim women dress like nuns do as Mary did. Wearing
the veil is completely optional, except in countries like Saudi
Arabia that adhere to the extremist and ANTI ISLAMIC sect of
- Islam is pro women's
rights. Islam gave women the right to own
property and manage their own affairs. In Islam it is forbidden for a man
to make his wife take his last name. The law for accusing a woman of
infidelity falsely is 80 lashes. Female Prime Ministers have been elected
in four Muslim countries.
- Islam is the most
western of religions. Every major University in the World includes Islam in
their "western" studies as Islam is an Abrahamic
faith. Islam is all about logic and reasoning. The phrase "for
those who think" is repeated in the Qur'an over and over again. The
Qur'an is credited by many to have originated the Renaissance and gotten
Europe out of the Dark Ages.
- The founding fathers
of America were admirers of Islam. Thomas Jefferson taught himself Arabic from his copy
of the Quran and he held the first Ramadan Iftar dinner in the White
House. George George Washington welcome Muslims to work for him.
Goethe , Nietzsche,
- Sharia Law is Arabic
for "God's Law" It is a system of economic, political and moral rules
derived from the Quran. We have been taught to think that Sharia law is
all about backwards moral rules but Sharia law is mostly economic laws. As
we can see above the moral issues are optional such as dressing modestly
and the punishment for breaking the moral laws often revolves on
protecting the reputation of women wrongly accused. The vast majority of
Sharia's moral laws revolve around Shrik, which is idolatry.
- Political Sharia prohibits
monarch and royalty of any kind. In Islam a beggar and a king are equal before God,
thus there can be no such thing as a KING or Queen in Islam. Saudi Arabia
has forgotten this important part of Sharia Law.
- Economic Sharia makes up about 95% of Sharia law according to Islamic scholars like Imran Hosein. It is similar to the Catholic churches ban on usury as in Islam usury called "Riba" is considered among the very worst sins, second only to "Shirk" which idolatry or associating other deities with God. Economic Sharia law is responsible for Islamic banking which has proved to be a huge success in Iran. The western banking cartel feels very threatened by Islamic banking and is thus taking every opportunity to demonize Sharia law by associating it with beheadings and female mutilation and all manner of other things completely anti-sharia.

And now, dear reader, just for the sake of comparison I thought I would delve into some literature on Jesus in that most sacred of Jewish holy books, the Talmud upon which all laws are based.
When you are done, ask yourself which religions have the most in common with each other on the fundamental issue of Jesus Christ.
Sanhedrin 106a . Says Jesus' mother was a whore: "She who was the descendant of princes and governors played the harlot with carpenters." Also in footnote #2 to Shabbath 104b of the Soncino edition, it is stated that in the "uncensored" text of the Talmud it is written that Jesus mother, "Miriam the hairdresser," had sex with many men.
While it is the standard disinformation practice of apologists for the Talmud to deny that it contains any scurrilous references to Jesus Christ, certain Orthodox Jewish organizations are more forthcoming and admit that the Talmud not only mentions Jesus but disparages him (as a sorcerer and a demented sex freak). These orthodox Jewish organizations make this admission perhaps out of the belief that Jewish supremacy is so well-established in the modern world that they need not concern themselves with adverse reactions.
1) He and his disciples practiced sorcery and black magic, led Jews astray into idolatry, and were sponsored by foreign, gentile powers for the purpose of subverting Jewish worship (Sanhedrin 43a).2) He was sexually immoral, worshiped statues of stone (a brick is mentioned), was cut off from the Jewish people for his wickedness, and refused to repent (Sanhedrin 107b; Sotah 47a).3) He learned witchcraft in Egypt and, to perform miracles, used procedures that involved cutting his flesh, which is also explicitly banned in the Bible (Shabbos 104b).
Kallah 51a."The elders were once sitting in the gate when two young lads passed by; one covered his head and the other uncovered his head. Of him who uncovered his head Rabbi Eliezer remarked that he is a bastard. Rabbi Joshua remarked that he is the son of a niddah (a child conceived during a woman's menstrual period). Rabbi Akiba said that he is both a bastard and a son of a niddah."They said, 'What induced you to contradict the opinion of your colleagues?' He replied, "I will prove it concerning him." He went to the lad's mother and found her sitting in the market selling beans."He said to her, 'My daughter, if you will answer the question I will put to you, I will bring you to the world to come.' (eternal life). She said to him, 'Swear it to me.'"Rabbi Akiba, taking the oath with his lips but annulling it in his heart, said to her, 'What is the status of your son?' She replied, 'When I entered the bridal chamber I was niddah (menstruating) and my husband kept away from me; but my best man had intercourse with me and this son was born to me.' Consequently the child was both a bastard and the son of a niddah."It was declared, '..Blessed be the God of Israel Who Revealed His Secret to Rabbi Akiba..."
