BLOOD AND OIL X 2

BP AND THE ALBERTA TAR SANDS

George Poitras, member of Mikisew Cree indigenous First Nation talks about the issues of pollution and cancers suffered by many of the First Nations people as a result of the Oil companies action extractive industries.

"My people are dying, and we believe British companies are responsible. My community, Fort Chipewyan in Alberta, Canada, is situated at the heart of the vast toxic moonscape that is the tar sands development. We live in a beautiful area, but unfortunately, we find ourselves upstream from the largest fossil fuel development on earth. UK oil companies like BP, and banks like RBS, are extracting the dirtiest form of oil from our traditional lands, and we fear it is killing us." ~ George

BP has been prompted to disclose much information that has not been publicly available before. Tar sands has become a hot topic among the investment community and BP has been subject to a far higher level of investor scrutiny on the issue than ever before.

The shareholder resolution about BPs involvement in tar sands production was discussed and put to the vote at the oil majors AGM. Results presented by BP at the meeting show that almost 15% of voters either supported the resolution or abstained despite the boards recommendation to reject it.

This is a significant expression of concern about the companys decision to invest in new tar sands projects

MY DOGS WON'T DRINK THE RAINWATER

My Dogs Won't Drink the Rainwater

by Tony Blizzard

Most of this week it has been raining where I live. [Arkansas] Until today it was mostly light rain but this morning there was close lightening and thunder and water coming down by inches an hour. This water is off the Gulf of Mexico, pushed inland by the current storm in the gulf.

In the afternoon, the clouds broke up, the sun finally coming out, so I took my dogs for a walk, first chance in days. But with the sun came truly muggy heat. In a short time the dogs were looking for water. They know all the places in the road ditches where we walk which are a bit deeper and hold puddles of water after a rain.

They kept going to these spots as we progressed but they wouldn't drink this fresh rain water after a lick or a smell. Not even where it was still running freely. Finally we hit a spot, a little deeper than the others, where the old dog did half-heartedly drink some. But he soon ended up biting at the water before climbing out of the ditch - I've never seen him do that before.

On arriving home the dogs usually dive into an old 4 or 5 gallon mop bucket I have set to catch rain water off the roof. But they drank very little from it today even though they were obviously thirsty.

Finally, after being in the house for some time, they drank from the well water bucket I keep in the house for them. Now I'll have to watch how they approach the well water the next few days as these rains work their way through the earth into my well. If my well is contaminated by rain laden with those chemicals dumped into the gulf, or with oil, I'm in trouble. Hell, half the country is.

I trust my dogs' senses of smell and taste way over what we're told by government, academia and media. Today there was something about this fresh rain water that they wanted no part of.

DEEPWATER ~ GULF DEAD ZONE LINKED TO ETHANOL PRODUCTION

July 30, 2010

Washington

While the BP oil spill has been labeled the worst environmental catastrophe in recent U.S. history, a biofuel is contributing to a Gulf of Mexico "dead zone" the size of New Jersey that scientists say could be every bit as harmful to the gulf.

Each year, nitrogen used to fertilize corn, about a third of which is made into ethanol, leaches from Midwest croplands into the Mississippi River and out into the gulf, where the fertilizer feeds giant algae blooms. As the algae dies, it settles to the ocean floor and decays, consuming oxygen and suffocating marine life.

Known as hypoxia, the oxygen depletion kills shrimp, crabs, worms and anything else that cannot escape. The dead zone has doubled since the 1980s and is expected this year to grow as large as 8,500 square miles and hug the Gulf Coast from Alabama to Texas.

As to which is worse, the oil spill or the hypoxia, "it's a really tough call," said Nathaniel Ostrom, a zoologist at Michigan State University. "There's no real answer to that question."

Some scientists fear the oil spill will worsen the dead zone, because when oil decomposes, it also consumes oxygen. New government estimates on Thursday indicated that the BP oil spill had gushed as much as 141 million gallons since an oil-rig explosion and well blowout on April 20 that killed 11 workers.

Corn is biggest culprit

The gulf dead zone is the second-largest in the world, after one in the Baltic Sea. Scientists say the biggest culprit is industrial-scale corn production. Corn growers are heavy users of both nitrogen and pesticides. Vast monocultures of corn and soybeans, both subsidized by the federal government, have displaced diversified farms and grasslands throughout the Mississippi Basin.

Both corn and soy will be 100% GMO products as well.

"The subsidies are driving farmers toward more corn," said Gene Turner, a zoologist at Louisiana State University. "More nitrate comes off corn fields than it does off of any other crop by far. And nitrogen is driving the formation of the dead zone."

The dead zone, he said, is "a symptom of the homogenization of the landscape. We just have a few crops on what used to have all kinds of different vegetation."

In 2007, Congress passed a renewable fuels standard that requires ethanol production to triple in the next 12 years. The Department of Agriculture has just rolled out a plan to meet that goal, including building ethanol refineries in every state. The Environmental Protection Agency will decide soon whether to increase the amount of ethanol in gasoline blends from 10 percent to 15 percent.

A 2008 National Research Council report warned of a "considerable" increase in damage to the gulf if ethanol production is increased.

Pet cause of Congress

One of the authors of that report, agricultural economist Otto Doering at Purdue University, said that a 50 percent boost in the ethanol blend in gasoline will significantly raise corn prices, driving farmers to pull land out of conservation and pastureland and into corn production. They are also likely to add more nitrogen fertilizers to boost yields.

Corn ethanol has been heavily subsidized since the Arab oil embargo in the 1970s. Viewed by the corn industry as a lucrative market, ethanol is a perennial favorite in Congress.

Ethanol consumes two-thirds of all federal subsidies for renewable fuels, said Ken Cook, president of the Environmental Working Group, an advocacy group, leaving solar, wind and the rest to fight over the remaining third. Corn ethanol cost taxpayers $17 billion from 2005 to 2009, his group estimates.

"This is another industry that's entirely a creature of the government, even more so than corn growing per se," Cook said. "The production of ethanol wouldn't happen at all without government subsidies and protection."

The National Corn Growers Association ran a media blitz in Washington last week to press for the renewal of the 51-cents-a-gallon tax credit for ethanol. With pictures of the BP oil spill looming in the background, the Corn Growers' video announces, "Ethanol: Now is the time."

Conservation plan hurt

The ethanol boom over the past decade has lured farmers to withdraw millions of acres from the Conservation Reserve Program, which pays farms not to plant fragile land. Much of this land has been returned to native prairie grasses, at taxpayer expense. Millions more acres are up for renewal over the next few years.

"There's been a very large-scale conversion of these CRP lands to biofuel production," Ostrom said. Those soils have accumulated carbon from the atmosphere and stored it, becoming "a pretty significant sink for atmospheric CO2," he said. "If we suddenly start farming those soils, we basically release all of the carbon that's been sequestered for decades, and that may more than offset any carbon benefit of switching to biofuels."

To meet its goal of tripling ethanol production, Congress called for more cellulosic ethanol, which is made from wood, crop waste, perennial grasses such as switchgrass, and even native prairie grasses. Perennial grasses are considered far less damaging to the environment than corn because they require less fertilizer and their roots remain in the ground, helping to stabilize the soil and reduce runoff.

But commercial production of cellulosic ethanol remains a pipe dream. It would require large subsidies to dislodge corn ethanol.

There is no experience with commercial production of switchgrass. Purdue's Doering said it will require fertilizer and is likely to be planted on conservation lands and pasture instead of displacing corn.

Joan Nassauer, a professor at the University of Michigan who has studied how alternative agricultural policies could alleviate the dead zone, said cellulosic ethanol could work.

"It might be one of those win-wins, but it's not in production yet," she said. "What we've got now all over the Corn Belt is corn, and that's definitely not a win-win."

DEEPWATER ~ THE GROWING HEALTH CRISIS IN THE GULF

For the past while my brain has been scattered and I have had incredible difficulty focusing on any one piece, or anything else, for that matter. And my normally organized house, well small apartment, is a shambles. Normally none of these things were much to deal with. As I was working on this piece, suddenly a great inertia fell over me and I just wanted to drop it and do something else.

There is SO much going on right now, oil spills (controlled accidents IMHO), the effects of corexit being so like the Dengue fever, the American horrors being built up for yet more wars on several fronts, Israel and its sick agenda, France going after its lost African assets, need I go on? The list is endless.

I heard the comforting click of an answer lodging into my consciousness and understood what I previously knew, but had not seen ... sorta like being unable to see the forest for the trees.

TPTB are trying to weary us out completely with a tsunami of crises..Events and challenges of greater and greater danger are being thrown at us at faster rates. Remember that is part of it all. We just have to stay as sharp as we can, remember they play dirty and are beginning to pull out all the stops so we can only expect things to get much worse. May Jesus and God be with us, for we will need all the help we can get.

Just don't roll over and play dead or you will be in one of those plastic caskets of which America has millions. Stand up for the world, your family and stop taking it.

As for me, a little more sunshine and ocean time ~ even that is difficult because I feel so deeply what is being done to the lifeblood of our precious planet. However, that's my ticket to sanity for now because we do not know for how long even such basic things as fresh air and sunshine will be available to us. There is NOTHING which we can take for granted any longer, and now even the simplest things as these are blessings and gifts to appreciate, to give thanks for.

July 27, 2010

by Stephen Lendman

The combination of millions of gallons of oil and dispersants has made large areas of the Gulf toxic and dangerous, marine toxicologist Ricki Ott saying if she lived there with children she'd leave - based on her firsthand experience after the 1989 Prince William Sound, Alaska Exxon Valdez disaster and subsequent research, documented in her books titled, "Sound Truth and Corporate Myth$: The Legacy of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill" and "Not One Drop - Betrayal and Courage in the Wake of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill."

Ongoing today, the legacy includes criminal negligence, bankruptcies, destroyed lives and livelihoods, domestic violence, severe anxiety, trauma, PTSD, drug and alcohol abuse, serious illnesses, suicides, massive loss of plant and wildlife, and vast ecological destruction from the 30 million or more gallons spilled, the State of Alaska's conservative estimate, not Exxon's 11 million figure, its lowball claim to hide the disaster's magnitude and minimize its liability.
The Gulf catastrophe is infinitely greater, estimates up to three or more Exxon Valdez incidents (using Exxon's figure) a week until capped. Yet some experts think another seabed hole (a few miles from the Macondo well) is emitting 100,000 or more barrels daily, greatly compounding the growing disaster, added to more by numerous small leaks, five or more alone in BP's Macondo well ~ the "well from hell," according to some.

Geologist Chris Landau is one, telling Petroleum World that
"BP has drilled into a deep-core oil volcano that cannot be stopped, regardless of the horizontal drills the company claims will stop the oil plume in August."
Ocean Energy Institute Founder Matthew Simmons is another, telling Bloomberg we've killed the Gulf of Mexico ~ its $2.2 trillion economy by depleting oxygen, decimating aquatic life and poisoning the food chain.
We've also created a public health crisis, problems showing up first in cleanup workers experiencing dizziness, fainting, nausea, nosebleeds, vomiting, coughing, headaches, stomach upset, and difficulty breathing, compounded by heat, fatigue, hydrocarbon smell, and combined toxicity of oil and dispersants.
Besides other toxins, crude oil contains benzene, in even small amounts associated with leukemia, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, other serious blood and immune system diseases, ventricular fibrillation, congestive gastritis, toxic gastritis, pyloric stenosis, myalgia, kidney damage, skin irritation and burns, swelling and edema, vascular congestion in the brain, and lethal central nervous system depression among others, depending on length and degree of exposure.

Corexit and Dengue Fever both show themselves as very similar in their attack on the body. Keep that in mind as the deaths around the Gulf begin to take their toll and suddenly "Dengue fever" is a mosquito born plague in America. What Mr. Lendman does not mention is that the corexit, a known toxin with severe side effects, banned an much of Europe, was not poured into the Gulf for environmental causes.

We may call them idiots, but the people at BP are not complete fools. This is not their first environmental disaster. If anything the corexit made things worse, far worse ~ and I believe they knew full well what they were up to in its heavy application.

According to TPTB who give themselves godlike powers over all life on earth, there exists a high concentration of "Useless eaters" along the Gulf Coast. Useless eaters, are non consumers, old people, the ill and the homeless, those ill equipped to thrive and grow in today's cut throat society.

Do not also forget the vast number of retirees in Florida. Culling of such groups leaves more money in the public purse, freed up for the vicious soul-sucking wars that are currently bleeding the nation dry as they are played out as well as those now in the works.

The EPA's safe level is 4 parts per billion (ppb), yet Gulf levels reach or top 3,000, smelled hundreds of miles away, meaning residents inhaling fumes are ingesting dangerous toxins, raising their risk for serious future health problems, some potentially lethal.

Long-term exposure to benzene, ethylbenzene, xylene, toluene and other solvents may cause infertility, low-birth weight babies, miscarriages, decreased cognitive function, psychomotor coordination problems, weakened immunity, and increased risk of depression, insomnia, certain cancers, and other diseases.

In their book Generations at Risk, Ted Schettler, Gina Solomon, Maria Valenti and Annette Huddle reviewed the physical properties of solvents, enabling humans to ingest them saying:

"They evaporate in air at room temperature and are therefore easily inhaled; they penetrate the skin easily; and they cross the placenta, sometimes accumulating at higher doses in the fetus. In addition, many solvents (like benzene) enter breast fat and are found in breast milk, sometimes at higher concentrations than in maternal blood."
"Solvents contaminating drinking water enter the body through skin absorption and inhalation in the shower, as well as through drinking water. In fact, the total exposure from taking a ten minute shower in contaminated water is greater than....drinking two quarts of the same water. Solvents are generally short-lived in the human body, lingering for no more than several days." When longer-term, however, much greater harm results.

Exposure can cause
"a range of ill effects, including damage to the skin, liver, central nervous system, lungs, and kidneys.

Certain solvents can inhibit blood cell production."

Many are carcinogenic.

Glycol ethers can cause birth defects, testicular damage, infertility, and failed pregnancies.

Exposed men experience low sperm counts, women reproductive problems, everyone potential serious future health problems.
After the 2002 Galicia, Spain Prestige oil spill and 2007 South Korean Hebei Spirit one, fishermen and cleanup workers suffered from respiratory and central nervous system problems, even genetic damage. After the Exxon Valdez disaster, BP's then medical director, Dr. Robert Rigg warned:"
It is a known fact that neurological changes (brain damage), skin disorders, (including cancer), liver and kidney damage, cancer of the other organs, and medical complications ~ secondary to exposure to working unprotected (or inadequately protected) ~ can and will occur (in) workers exposed to crude oil and other petrochemical by-products." Short-term symptoms and complaints may be early warnings of serious long-term harm.
Public health specialists Ellen-Marie Whelan and Lesley Russell from the Center for American Progress said:
"We know that Exxon Valdez cleanup workers faced average oil mist exposure that was twelve times higher than government-approved limits, and those who washed the beaches with hot water experienced a maximum exposure 400 times higher than these limits.

Many of those workers suffered subsequent health problems, and in 1989, 1,811 workers filed compensation claims, primarily for respiratory system damage, according to the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health."

Today, we face "what some are calling the worst-ever ecological disaster without an appropriate public health response in place."
Whelan and Russell also cited the dangers of "controlled burns," saying "When we aerosolize those oil droplets, they can be breathed in, which can be very damaging to the lungs, and can" irritate the eyes, throat, and cause nausea and vomiting. Early May EPA air tests in the greater Venice, LA area showed toxin levels far exceeding safe standards onshore ~ 100 ~ 1,000-fold for volatile organic carbons (VOC), including hydrogen sulfide, and other emitted chemicals.

According to Ott and other experts, if air, land and water toxicity exceeds safe levels, Washington is obligated to evacuate residents, as it would ahead of a dangerous hurricane. "The current situation is a disaster in the making," so far covered up and unaddressed.

Oil cleanup workers hired by BP clean oily deposits from the shore in Orange Beach, Ala., Saturday, June 12, 2010. Almost two months after an oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, shortages of government-required protective gear and cleaning equipment are slowing work to remove the sticky mess and keep beaches along the coast safe and oil-free. (Dave Martin, Associated Press)

SAN ANTONIO ~ For weeks now, local hospitals have tracked patients with suspicious symptoms coming in from the gulf coast. Doctors are having trouble distinguishing it from the flu.

"What makes it challenging is that patients show up with non-specific symptoms. Headaches, fatigue, problems with memory and concentration, upset stomach," lists Dr. Claudia Miller at UT Health Science Center.

The illness is called "TILT," or Toxicant-Induced Loss of Tolerance. Patients lose tolerance to household products, medication, or even food after being exposed to chemicals, like burning oil, toxic fumes, or dispersants from the spill.

"Things like diesel fuel, exposure to fragrances, cleaning agents that never bothered them before suddenly bother them," adds Dr. Miller.

TILT has been difficult to track because symptoms are similar to the flu. Currently, Dr. Miller is educating primary care doctors on how to spot and treat the illness before it gets worse. Though it's not contagious, the best cure right now is staying away from affected areas.

"Be sure to wear protective equipment and stay out of areas with smell, if [you] feel sick," Dr. Miller says. "The smells are usually chemicals that can make them ill."

REPORT FROM RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS

Chemical Dispersants
~ Compounding the Disaster

According to the EPA:

"Dispersants have not been used extensively in the United States because of possible long term environment effects, difficulties with timely and effective application, disagreement among scientists and research date about their environmental effects, effectiveness, and toxicity concerns."
Extensive use of them (two million or more gallons so far) is a giant uncontrolled human/wildlife/ecological experiment, especially combined with oil.

Oil is toxic at 11 parts per million (ppm) while Corexit 9500 at only 2.61 ppm, and Corexit 9527 even less, the EPA calling it an acute health hazard. Its main ingredient, 2-butoxyethanol, is a dangerous neurotoxin pesticide known to cause cancer, reproductive problems, birth defects, genetic mutations, blood disorders, and damage to kidneys, liver and central nervous system.

It's not known if Corexit 9500 contains 2-butoxyethanol. Science Corps.org lists it among its toxic ingredients. For competitive reasons, Nalco, its producer, keeps its formula secret, but what's disclosed is extremely toxic, including dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate (DSS), causing severe eye and skin irritation as well as diarrhea, intestinal bloating, cramps and nausea when ingested, including by inhaling fumes. It's also cytotoxic, especially to liver cells.

Please note that the main symptoms and health issues of the clean up workers were these very same problems accompanied by blinding headaches and severe respiratory problems.

Corexit also contain arsenic, cadmium, chromium, mercury, cyanide, and other heavy metals. Dispersing oil with it increases toxicity 11-fold, suggesting a calamitous looming public health disaster, potentially affecting hundreds of thousands of area residents and in other states if toxins spread by rains. More on that below.

Containing solvents, surfactants (surface active agents), and other toxins, dispersants make oil more water soluble by breaking its surface tension. Once done, it sinks, stays suspended in deep water, and collects on the seabed where shellfish and other organisms feed, in turn becoming food for other sea life, then humans.

What fish and animals eat, people do, including all toxins they ingest. It's why the National Academy of Sciences warns about "insufficient understanding of the fate (and effects) of dispersed oil in aquatic ecosystems," perhaps destroying them entirely, making Gulf seafood unsafe to eat and dozens of area communities hazardous to live in.

Science Corps.org lists the following potential health damage to humans and wildlife from dispersants:
"respiratory system, liver, kidneys, circulatory system, immune system, musculoskeletal system, skin and integumentary system, nervous system, including the brain, reproductive/urogenital system, endocrine system, gastrointestinal system, sensory systems, hematopoietic system (blood forming), (and) disruption of normal metabolism."
Damaging these systems can cause "a wide range of diseases and conditions....some immediately evident, others....appear(ing) months or years later."

Especially vulnerable are people with serious pre-existing conditions; infants, children, and fetuses; pregnant women, especially carrying multiple fetuses; and people working or living in environments causing health stresses or exposure to other toxins.
"Crude oil's toxic ingredients (alone) can damage every system in the body." Combined with dispersants, the potential risk increases exponentially.

Natural Gas Containing Methane
~ A Potentially Far Greater Threat

Natural gas contains from 75 ~ 90% methane. It's also a constituent of oil, about 40% of Macondo well emissions, compared to around 5% in other deposits, creating a potentially far greater disaster, including:

~ oxygen-depleted "dead zones" throughout the Gulf in which animal and plant life can't survive; and

~ a possible "massive bubble trapped for thousands of years under the Gulf of Mexico sea floor," warns DK Matai, exploding and unleashing a high-speed "tsunami" endangering the entire Gulf coastline, especially Florida, followed by a "second tsunami via vaporization," producing a massive hot cavity able to vaporize water into steam, causing another seabed rupture.

Terrance Aym calls it a possible, though low probability,

"world-killing event....an irreversible, cascading geological Apocalypse that will culminate with the first mass extinction of life on Earth in many millions of years."
Biochemical engineer Gregory Ryskin suggests "oceans periodically produce massive eruptions of explosive methane gas," based on scientific evidence, the last mass extinction occurring 55 million years ago. Other geologist agree that "The consequences of a methane-driven oceanic eruption for marine and terrestrial life are likely to be catastrophic."

HOW THE BP DISASTER MIGHT HAVE SET OFF A WORLD KILLING EVENT

Warning signs include large seabed fissures, a rise in seafloor elevation, and "the massive venting of methane and other gases....All....occurring in the Gulf," the Macondo well its epicenter in which methane is pressurized at 100,000 pounds psi. Other fissures have also been spotted as distant as 30 miles from ground zero.

"Most disturbing of all: Methane levels in the water are now calculated as being almost one million times higher than normal." If the bubble erupts, "every ship, drilling rig and structure (in its vicinity) will immediately sink," killing everyone on them.

Then, "the ocean bottom will collapse....displacing up to a trillion cubic feet of water (creating) a towering supersonic tsunami annihilating everything" in its path, depositing a lethal chemical cocktail, a potential doomsday scenario that can happen suddenly, perhaps soon.

Previously perfect leaf, burned after a light rain

Toxic Rain

On July 24, a Juliyanna written Rense.com article headlined, "Bonnie Drops Toxic BP Rain ~ More Plants Dying," accessed through the following link:

http://rense.com/general91/bonnide.htm

It discussed light, short Key Largo, FL rain from tropical storm Bonnie as it passed over south Florida, destroying a Jasmine plant two hours after it fell.

Burned leaf with white stuff from rain....

"The plant was a healthy young plant" grown to five feet, eight inches. After rain hit its leaves, they "crumpled and fell off on the ground," the tree left with "a huge burned brown spot and then there is this white stuff on the other leaves as well." The tree's flowers were also affected, left "sagging and falling off."

Her yard's other trees weren't harmed, "so it appears the more exotic tender plants get damaged much easier," apparently from toxic rain likely affecting other coastal areas.

Previously upright flowers, straight stem, unblemished leaves.

No wonder experts like Ricki Ott say Gulf hazards warrant evacuation, the alternative being long-term exposure to greater health and well-being risks than anyone should take.

Burned leaf and drooping flowers. There were no heavy winds to do this to the flowers and make the stalk bend like this. It had been just a light drizzle.

DEEPWATER ~ DAVID ICKE OFFERS HIS VIEW OF THE OILPOCALYPSE

I have been saying all along that Deepwater was 911, Part 2.
It seems David Icke agrees. Yes, indeed, this was a planned event.

BACK TO THE OILPOCALYPSE ~ DEEPWATER

AND THE SEA SHALL TURN TO BLOOD’ …

… A ‘BIBLICAL’ CATASTROPHE THAT WILL AFFECT US ALL

THE ‘SPILL’ (UNCONTROLLED GUSH) WILL DEVASTATE AMERICA?

YES, BUT THAT’S THE IDEA

Hello all …

The potential magnitude of what is unfolding

in the Gulf of Mexico simply cannot be overstated.

It is far, far worse than is being admitted

and what we are allowed to see is catastrophic enough.

When a major event happens I like to watch and wait to see what information comes to light before jumping in with ‘it’s this’ or ‘it’s that’. What appears to be one thing at the start can become something quite different a few days or weeks later.

They are so often a veil for cold calculation.
The Gulf of Mexico disaster didn’t just happen,
it was made to happen.

But I have long seen more than enough to shake my head at claims that this was just an ‘accident’ or ‘incompetence’.Beware cover stories of ‘incompetence’, as with ‘incompetent bureaucrats’,

Mother Jones magazine reported:

‘Tony Buzbee, a lawyer representing 15 rig workers and dozens of shrimpers, seafood restaurants, and dock workers, says he has obtained a three-page signed statement from a crew member on the boat that rescued the burning rig’s workers.

The sailor, who Buzbee refuses to name for fear of costing him his job, was on the ship’s bridge when Deepwater Horizon installation manager Jimmy Harrell, a top employee of rig owner Transocean, was speaking with someone in Houston via satellite phone.

Buzbee told Mother Jones that, according to this witness account, Harrell was screaming, “

Are you fucking happy?

Are you fucking happy?

The rig’s on fire!

I told you this was gonna happen.’

Yes, and nothing was done because it was meant to happen.

Readers of my books and website will be well acquainted with the name, Halliburton, the Illuminati-to-its-fingertips corporation once headed by the truly evil Dick Cheney, the real power in the White House during the Boy Bush administration that gave us 9/11, the ‘war on terror’ and the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.

The company headed by a key player behind the war on Iraq has since been awarded a stream of no bid government contracts in the country that have transferred staggering amounts of taxpayer money into the pig trough infested by Halliburton executives and shareholders.

Lawsuits claim that the explosion on the Deepwater Horizon rig, 52 miles south-east of the Louisiana port of Venice on April 20th, was caused because Halliburton workers improperly capped the well ~ a process known as cementing.

Anything ~ anything ~ involving or connected to Halliburton is ultimately controlled and dictated by the Illuminati cabal orchestrated by the House of Rothschild and its associated families. They own Halliburton, lock, stock and millions of barrels.

Just eight days before the Gulf blow-out,

Halliburton also announced

that it had agreed to buy Boots & Coots

for $240.4 million.

Who are Boots & Coots?

The world’s largest oil-spill clean-up company which also deals with oil and gas well fires and blowouts.

What an incredibly fortunate coincidence.

What a slice of luck.

The same, too, for another Rothschild-controlled cesspit of evil and corruption, Goldman Sachs, the ‘investment bank’ that gave us the mortgage debt crisis and the economic collapse of Greece.

Goldman Sachs sold 44 per cent of its holdings in BP, a total of 4,680,822 shares worth the best part of $300 million, in the weeks before the Gulf disaster that sent BP shares plummeting, and Tony Hayward, BP’s disgraceful chief executive, is reported to have sold his £1.4 million shares in BP a month before the explosion. The profit allowed him to pay off the mortgage on his mansion. How nice.

As with the pre-9/11 ‘put options’ (bets) on the stocks of American airlines falling, so we have gathering evidence that some people knew what was coming in the Gulf of Mexico from an oil rig operated by one of the biggest Illuminati companies on the planet ~ British Petroleum.

Merely drilling where BP did, with the known pressures from within the earth, was asking for trouble ~ literally from the inner cabal’s point of view.

But what’s the deal? How does an oil-poisoned ocean and devastated coastal communities (and potentially others far inland and around the world) benefit the Illuminati cabal and their agenda for total global control?

Oh, in so many ways.

Firstly, we need to appreciate the almost unimaginable scale of what is happening ~ facts that BP and the Obama-fronted American government are desperate to keep from us.

Recent reports have claimed to quote the opinions of scientists who are too fearful to be publicly named because of the consequences for their lives and careers.

They estimate the release of oil from under the Earth’s crust at between 80,000 and 100,000 barrels a day. That is 4.2 million American gallons or 15.9 million litres a day potentially pouring into the Gulf.

This aligns with a leaked internal BP document that says that in a ‘worst-case scenario’ up to 100,000 barrels a day could be released into the ocean.

The scientists were quoted as saying that the ‘sandblasting’ of the oil, toxic gases, rocks and sand will be continually making a bigger hole for the oil and gas to escape. In other words, the situation is getting worse not better and it is already a catastrophe of immense proportions for those immediately affected ~ a number growing rapidly by the day.

The scientists predicted that the drill hole will expand beneath the wellhead and so weaken the area on which the wellhead stands until it is pushed off the hole to allow the oil to flow with no restrictions at all.

Should that happen the consequences are unthinkable.

The scientists said that billions of barrels of oil will be released before the pressure in the enormous cavity five miles below the seabed calms and finds balance and then water would pour into the cavity to replace the oil.

They said that the temperature at that depth, some 400 degrees, will turn the water to steam creating a pressure that will lift the ocean floor. They estimate that this will create a tsunami of between 20 to 80 feet, or even higher, that will bring the poisoned ocean ashore to leave great tracts of land uninhabitable and without life.

American investigative journalist, Wayne Madsen, writes that satellite imagery withheld by the Obama administration shows that

‘under the gaping chasm spewing oil at an ever-alarming rate is a cavern estimated to be around the size of Mount Everest’.

This information, he says,
has been given an almost national security-level classification
to keep it from the public.

Now, we have heard many doomsday scenarios before in many circumstances that have not manifested, but even if such shocking predictions do not happen on that staggering scale there is no question that the world changed on April 20th 2010 when the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded.

Just a look at the map of the Gulf region reveals the potential effect on enormous numbers of people in Mexico, the Caribbean and the southern states of America with so many living on or close to the coastline …

But the scale and potential of what we are seeing goes way beyond even the Gulf. The scientists I mentioned earlier say that the oil has now reached the Gulf Stream, with a current at least four times stronger than in the Gulf of Mexico itself, and this could help to direct the oil all over the world in the next 18 months.

It is the Gulf Stream that keeps the United Kingdom and parts of Europe much warmer than they would otherwise be at their latitude, but it will also act as a oceanic conveyor belt delivering the oil from the Gulf Mexico across the Atlantic.

The toxic oil and gas are being added to by the lethal ‘dispersant’ used by BP to (theoretically, for public consumption only), ‘disperse the oil’. They are using Corexit 9500 and Corexit 9527A which are so toxic they have been banned in Europe, although Europe is likely to get them anyway via the Gulf Stream.

Corexit is manufactured by a corporation called Nalco, once part of ExxonMobil, and the current leadership includes executives from Exxon and BP. The European Union Times said of Corexit:

‘A dire report prepared for President Medvedev by Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources is warning today that the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico is about to become the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with “total destruction” …

Russian scientists are basing their apocalyptic destruction assessment due to BP’s use of millions of gallons of the chemical dispersal agent known as Corexit 9500 which is being pumped directly into the leak of this wellhead over a mile under the Gulf of Mexico waters and designed, this report says, to keep hidden from the American public the full, and tragic, extent of this leak that is now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day.’

You might think at first hearing that it is blatantly crazy to use Corexit when there are some 12 other less toxic and more effective dispersants approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Two of those on the EPA list ‘were found to be 100 percent effective on Gulf of Mexico crude, while the two Corexit products rated 56 percent and 63 percent effective’.

Well, yes, it is crazy, these people are crazy, but there is method in their madness, as I’ll explain.

Killing the sea to ‘save’ the sea.

Corexit also causes the oil to drop below the surface so giving a false impression of how much oil is in the water.

It also keeps the dead creatures from floating and being seen and counted by the public, it hides its own death count.

Environmental engineer Joe Taylor has publicly warned BP to stop using Corexit immediately or everything in the sea is going to die. It is worth watching this short report on his findings before we move on, because we are getting to the prime question – why is BP doing everything it can to cause maximum destruction. Click here to watch … Must Stop Using Toxic Dispersant Now, Says Environmental Engineer …http://www.davidicke.com/newsletter-archive-othermenu-47/35564-and-the-sea-shall-turn-to-blood-a-biblical-catastrophe-that-will-affect-us-all#muststopusing

The key words spoken by Joe Taylor were when he said that if he knew the information about the effect of Corexit then so did BP ~ ‘They have a lot of chemists who are a lot smarter than I am, and they know this.’

Why would BP be knowingly causing as much environmental devastation as possible? The answer to this question is the same as the answer to these:

Why was the booming operation supposed to protect the beaches from the oil so pathetic and ‘inept’, as exposed here by an expert … BP Fails Booming School 101?

Why is the BP ‘clean-up’ operation so disorganised, unmotivated and basically non-existent that BP employees are working for little more than two hours a day on beach cleaning, as exposed here in The Short Film BP Doesn’t Want You To See …?

http://www.davidicke.com/newsletter-archive-othermenu-47/35564-and-the-sea-shall-turn-to-blood-a-biblical-catastrophe-that-will-affect-us-all#cleanup

The answer to all those questions and so many more is this:

we are looking at an environmental 9/11

that was made to happen

and those behind this carnage

want it to be as extreme as possible

to get maximum impact

in terms of their goals of control and chaos.

Yes, BP is a 100% Illuminati company now facing fantastic costs and public condemnation, but all these corporations are just vehicles and thus expendable as necessary to the core agenda.

A vacuous, ludicrous and mendacious man called Bob Dudley, the BP managing director, said from the comfort and distance of Washington DC that ‘for BP, our intent is to restore the Gulf the way it was before it happened.’

Excuse me a moment …

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Thank-you.

Meanwhile, back here on Planet Earth, life as they have known it is already over for the coastal communities of the Gulf region with the tourist and fishing industries devastated or destroyed. People are now being forced to earn a livelihood working on ‘clean-ups’ for the same BP that has wreaked this havoc on their lives and families.

What’s more, they are told by this merciless corporation that they must work amid shocking levels of toxicity without respirators because they don’t want to ‘alarm the public’ by seeing such pictures ~ the same reason why BP has basically introduced its own martial law in the region to stop the full and horrific extent of the disaster and its global potential coming to light.

The health consequences for those ‘clean-up’ workers already exposed to this deeply toxic environment without protection will already be horrific, as we shall see. But BP couldn’t give a shit ~

just as the US government and the New York authorities couldn’t give a shit about the rescue workers on the toxic World Trade Center site after 9/11.

Already, even the (pathetic) mainstream media has reported that 70 people in Louisiana have been admitted to hospital with symptoms of toxin poisoning. Many beaches have been closed because of toxins in the air and water and people are reporting breathing problems and skin rashes and lesions.

One report said that crops as far north as North Carolina have been damaged by toxic rain, while oil has been falling in the rain near the Louisiana coast.

This is only the beginning, too, as the oil continues to gush in ever-greater amounts to be met by the lethal Corexit in ever-greater amounts, and that whole deadly toxic cocktail is going to fall as rain on communities far from the coast.

Add to that the hurricanes, tidal surges and other weather phenomena and you can understand why those nameless scientists are writing off land up to 200 miles from the shore as becoming too toxic to support life, let alone a human society. See the story about Nigeria at the end of this article for some of the consequences that oil pollution can bring.

Two other effects of so much oil in the Gulf of Mexico could be to heat up the sea, so causing more hurricanes and super-storms, and making the process of producing rain from seawater less efficient, so affecting rainfall on the land.

The major target of this engineered horror is America and its economy ~

as I have been saying for years

they are seeking to destroy the United States

militarily and financially

to bring this ‘superpower’ to its knees

so it can be absorbed into a world government dictatorship

via a North American Union.

BP has said that massive quantities of methane are leaking with the oil, along with large mounts of lethally toxic hydrogen sulfide, benzene and methylene chloride. This has the potential to trigger mass evacuations.

John Kessler, oceanography professor at Texas A&M University, discovered on a ten-day research expedition what he called ‘astonishingly high’ levels of methane within five miles of the stricken rig ~ ‘an incredible amount’ ~ and maybe as much as a million times greater than normal.

It is very sobering to look again at the towns and cities of the Gulf coast given a report by investigative journalist, Wayne Madson, that quotes ‘sources’ inside the US government, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the US Army Corps of Engineers as predicting a ‘dead zone’ within 200 miles of the rig caused by a combination of methane and toxic rain containing Corexit.

Madsen says:

‘Plans are being put in place for the mandatory evacuation of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mandeville, Hammond, Houma, Belle Chase, Chalmette, Slidell, Biloxi, Gulfport, Pensacola, Hattiesburg, Mobile, Bay Minette, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, Crestview, and Pascagoula.’

Imagine evacuating that many people and maybe more of the tens of millions of people who live on or within 200 miles of the Gulf coast, but then that would be just the scale of disaster and compulsion that would allow FEMA, a major asset of the Control System as my books and others have detailed, to impose its long-planned martial law on enormous numbers of people.

FEMA and the military have been preparing for this for years with exercises for just such a situation involving oil pollution, but all records of this were expunged from FEMA-related websites in the weeks before the Deepwater Horizon explosion.

Anything that affects America on such a scale would have a knock-on effect economically across the world ~ another bonus for the cabal which is seeking to create maximum chaos on every front to instigate the global problems to which it will offer its global solutions ~ a world political and military dictatorship.

PROBLEM > REACTION > SOLUTION

Watch China like a hawk, or rather like a vulture, as it begins to circle America waiting to seize its carcass as soon as it thinks it is sufficiently wounded.

China is where the Elite Zionists have moved their headquarters. You will note most very large companies have moved out of North America over the past few years.

While I was writing this article, I remembered that one of the ‘messages’ I was given through the first psychic I saw in 1990 said this:

‘Taking oil from the seabed is destabilizing the inner earth. The centre of the earth will move and the poles will change. The sea spirits will rise and stop men taking oil. The sea will reclaim the land and humans will see that they cannot do these terrible things. They cannot abuse the elements. They have to be treated with respect.’

This would not be the first time an entire world disappeared due to drilling too far into the earth's core and unleashed deadly forces upon humanity!

We are certainly going to see increasing signs of geological instability in these ‘end times’ as one era ends and another begins. It is a time to be strong and strap in for a bumpy ride for a while.

There are so many levels to all this and so much more to know about what is happening. On one level the Illuminati families pursue their agenda, as with this oil disaster, but on another there are other events unfolding and what seems to be happening on one level looks very different when viewed from another.

It is also interesting that many prophecies in different cultures include a theme of the sea turning to blood which, to be fair, is what the polluted sea of Gulf now looks like.

The Biblical Book of Revelation (8:8 and 8:9) says:

‘And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.’

I was talking a couple of days ago to the great Zulu high shaman, Credo Mutwa, and he said that the sea turning to blood during the run up to the ‘end of the world’ is a theme in his culture, too. He also said that South African sangomas (shamans) are having visions and dreams about the rain falling as blood and ‘large lumps of blood rolling in the shore’.

The prophecies of the Hopi people in Arizona speak of the sea turning black as a sign that the old age is ending and new one about to begin. It says:

‘This is the seventh sign, You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it.’

This is the theme of so many ‘end of the world’ legends and prophecies ~ a series of events that see the ‘old world’, cycle, yuga or epoch disappearing to be replaced by a new one.

In the Book of Revelation these events are symbolised as ‘seals’ while the Hopi prophecies call them ‘signs’. Zulu legends and prophecies have the same themes and they are remarkably consistent with each other in many ways.

I stress that the ‘end of the world’ doesn’t mean the end of life, only the end of an epoch, an age, and that is what we are experiencing now with many serious challenges to come.

But if the old ‘world’ does not break down,

the new cannot emerge

because the old,

through its Control System,

will seek to stifle and suffocate that change.

So it has to go and it is in the process of doing so. How current events in the Gulf of Mexico fit into that we can only wait and see, but I am sure we are witnessing something of potentially enormous significance on so many levels.

"The earth ~ is our Grandmother"

David Icke has weighed in with his analysis of the oil spill. The article is longish. David sees a cabalistic plot behind the spill. Whether or not one believes that the cabal caused the spill, it undoubtedly fits into their overall plans or can be made to fit.

He reviews the ways in which Halliburton, Goldman Sachs and other companies have profited from the spill and the actions they took before the spill to position themselves.
