Victoria, BC, has been known as the "lesbian capital of Canada" for many years now. This "look" is everywhere. The smugness that accompanies it is quite off-putting.

 

They are fussing that Martha Stewart graced the cover of Sports Illustrated this year. I know the target audience might not approve but Martha is an inspiration for many women and this is a great step forward.
