THE SOURING OF COMMUNIST FEMINAZISM

 .
If the term "radical feminism" (a.k.a. Marxist- or socialist-feminism) is somewhat new to you, you need to expand your knowledge.  After all, radical feminism, the currently controlling faction of feminism, governs just about everything that is happening in your life. ~ Carey Roberts, author: Marxism And The Roots Of Radical Feminism

"Some call it Marxism ~ I call it Judaism" ~ Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, The American Bulletin, May 15, 1935.

"Communism and Judaism are one and the same" ~ Hilary Cotter, Cardinal Minszenty, The Truth about His Real "Crime," p. 6.

The author of the article below,FEMINISM TASTES BITTER AFTER JOB ENDS, Sasha Spencer, speaks for millions of my generation, the Baby Boomers. She tells my story regarding the upswing of feminism; “political correctness” and other events have created a social climate in which if you do not embrace them fully, and all of its bastard children,(abortion, lesbian/homosexuality, birth control, etc) you are suspect, politically incorrect, and open for the venting of much mind-controlled spleen let alone lawsuits.

Sasha’s Spencer's details differ from mine but the overall end results are in essence, the same. She speaks for a generation of disenfranchised men and women.

A few years ago, courtesy of a conversation between Alex Jones and deceased filmmaker Aaron Russo, I got enough information to do some serious research on the origins of feminism.  I found a site named "Save the Males"  (Now known as Henry Makow.com) which was a goldmine of information that opened my eyes. The contents, which I knew instinctively were bang on, left me upset, angry, betrayed and sad for a very long time.
I realized a whole generation of young men and women had been sucker-punched so hard that the world as we knew it would never stop reeling. The damage was permanent and it had been PLANNED to be that way, to bring about a society none of us would ever have knowingly accepted. But of course, that is the main purpose of "political correctness" ~ to bring about unwanted social changes  by creating victim status, playing on human decency, and then having the people do their own policing as laws are changed under their noses to make these unwanted changes the law.

We were boonswoggled, just as we had been in so many other ways. Say what you will about us baby boomers, but we were the last naïve generation to be born. We were born into a time of unheralded financial security and stability; we trusted, had hopes and dreams that were possible for almost any of us to bring to fruition.

Who knows what heights we might have reached, what positive boons we could have created, if we had not been so vilely tampered with?

Would the world be the cesspool it is today? If our ideals had not been so tampered with and corrupted, I do believe it would be a much better place, but such a train of thought is a waste of time.

I was angry at myself for allowing myself to be socially manipulated, but then trust and turning the other cheek are a gentile "weaknesses" which our enemies, enemies we could not even imagine existed, were fully poised to take complete advantage of. Not even knowing of this social malignancy, we were putty in their scheming plans. I refer to the Rothschild dominated plan to bring about international Communism, enslaving us all. How could we even IMAGINE such an abomination existed?

As far as the feminist movement was concerned, the women who were hired by the CIA, and backed by the Rockefellers, Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan et al, tackled us and corrupted us well. Oh, they were sly and had a message which instilled a restlessness of the spirit and spoke to every girl and young woman of the time.

Freedom! Burn your bra
and set those puppies free
from patriarchal oppression!

Little did we know Gloria Steinem had been "dating" pedophile Kissinger! Or that Betty Friedan was a completely fabricated creature, in reality a paid political activist and professional propagandist for the Communist left for over a decade before the publication of "The Feminist Mystique" launched the modern women's movement. And on and on.

Feminist leaders of the movement, including Congresswoman Bella Azbug who brought in new laws to open up the civil laws to homosexual acceptance in 1975, (RADICAL HOMOSEXUAL MOVEMENT RUN BY JEWS) were card carrying members of the Communist party hired to utterly destroy the family.

Decades later the connection between Communism/Bolshevism/ Marxism/ Zionism struck home and the full realization of what was done to us became sickeningly clear. Of course by then, such insights were immediately branded as “politically incorrect”!

I have written much on feminism as well as the school responsible for the political correctness and the rot within our society, The Frankfurt School proposed a solution to further prepare us for non violent Communist takeover.  They succeeded in infiltrating our educational systems even more completely to organize the intellectuals and use them to make Western civilization stink. Only then, after they have corrupted all its values and made life impossible, can they impose the dictatorship of the proletariat.’

‘Revolution and Eros’ ~
sexual instinct used as an instrument of destruction.
'Until now nations were killed by conquest, that is by invasion: But here an important question arises; can a nation not die on its own soil, without resettlement or invasion, by allowing the flies of decomposition to corrupt to the very core those original and constituent principles which make it what it is?' wrote Joseph, Comte de Maistre (1753-1821) who for fifteen years was a Freemason.

In both pieces I clearly exposed the goals of Marxist social manipulation of the Western masses. The information presented will shock and enlighten and make it easier to understand how we got to the place we are in today. And no big words!  But, let us return to the great betrayal of America.

But women were not alone in being warped; there were the contributions of Hugh Hefner, who was at the same time, "freeing men from their enslavement from dominating women" by the demystification of the feminine gender according to his own warped ideals which effectively dehumanized woman, turning them into the equivalent of brainless pornographic creatures for men to masturbate over. The result was that men, too, began to think that marriage was no longer such a great thing and they bought into the “freedom myth” as well.

I refuse to let women take all the blame for this because the attack on the family was a multi-faceted, well coordinated, war on America and both genders, as is so well explained at the above link to Conspiracy to Corrupt.
With the introduction to drugs and the announcement that God was dead, we were “free” to fall into the free love movement, smash morals and release the passions of a massively huge generation and permanently instill these new-found "freedoms" into society. Meanwhile, naïve as we were, despite our belief in our worldliness because we had “sexual freedom”, we were unaware that, bubbling in the background for many decades, was the huge push for population control via feticide, oops abortion.  Now we were off to the de-balling of the Western men whilst cutting down the population all in the name of “Freedom” and “free choice”.

Anyone who cannot connect the dots here needs to open their eyes and coolly assess the confused relations between the genders. This is promoted unendingly through the social media and such influential programmes as “Sex in the City” which damaged millions of girls and their values.  Does it make any difference that the movers and shakers of all of this social manipulation were Jews as well as, in most cases, Communists?  That is for you to decide, Dear Reader.

We had a LOT of company in this disintegration of the family unit, the key pod of all societies, destined for destruction by Marx when they first organized Communism.
"Communism is Judaism. The Jewish Revolution in Russia was in 1918" ~ H. H. Beamish, speech in New York, 1937.
Miss Spencer, author of the article below, needs to realize all men lost too. She was not just the only one. We all lost. We are in a society in which the pendulum of feminism has swung so far over that men, especially White men, are becoming increasing disenfranchised. Of course, the greatest losers are the young of today who are being radically lesbianized and homosexualized, all victims of the great great great grandchild of radical feminism.

There are MILLIONS of Sasha Spencer's out there. The details may differ, but the story, by the end, is the same and brings about the same final overall result.

The origins of the politically correct movement lies in an adaptation of Marxism which seeks a radical transformation of our traditional culture in order to create a social revolution by imposing a consistency of ideas and behavior which are totalitarian in nature.  This effort goes back farther than the 60’s and the hippies and the peace movement, as far as to World War I. “Yes! What we need today is a social revolution to overthrow the patriarchal system together with its private property, marriage, the family, moral rules, individualism, the rule of law, heterosexuality, nations and national borders, so the human race can revert to its natural communist, bi- and pan-sexual, matriarchal state.”

FEMINISM TASTES BITTER AFTER JOB ENDS

Sasha Spencer presents an insightful analysis
of how feminism programmed her to fail.

June 17, 2011
By Sasha Sencer

“I can now lament at leisure my squandered youth and beauty. I seem to have done it all backwards.”

As a girl growing up in the 60′s and 70′s, in the American Midwest, I felt no societal honor or reward for following the traditional feminine role.

The take-home message was clear: being a wife and mother had no merit. I decided that my ultra-feminine British mother had nothing to teach me.

A naive media sponge, my job was to teach my mother: “You need to be more assertive and less co-dependent.” I assured her that everything she had to teach me as a woman was outdated and no longer applied.

The same applied to my English and very Victorian grandmother, as she attempted to give me direction in the ways of a woman. “My husband can fix his own damn dinner!” Besides, I would have much more important things to do!

No longer could I look to my mother or grandmother for the road map. This was uncharted territory but I was sure I was chosen for greatness.

I was now liberated from man and had the key to happiness. I would prove myself in a “man’s world”. In my youthful blindness, I jumped onto the feminist bandwagon, faithfully devouring every issue of Ms. Magazine.
 .
I fell for the Rockefeller funded B.S. with abandon. I went forth an angry young woman. But at least now, I could identify the problem. It was men!
.
In spite of all this, I married at age 26. My first husband was a brilliant young doctor finishing his residency at the Mayo Clinic. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more in a mate. A great provider. Treated me very well. I was set for life!

This wasn’t enough for me however. I still had to prove myself and it had to be great. Deep down, I never felt completely worthy of my great find in a man. I had to make it harder on myself. Therefore, I embarked on my “career” in media, acting and modeling. I was rarely home. This marriage ended in my early 30′s as I embarked on an acting-modeling career. I was off to make my glamorous fortune!

I was nine-years single, had scores of exciting men to date and a few minor television and film experiences under my belt. I then landed my dream job. As Executive Director of the Impressionists Society, I was off to France. I began the journey of my life. I was living and working with the family and heir to a famous French Impressionist painter. My dream had finally come true and it did not disappoint.

JOBS DON’T LAST

As all good things seem to come to an end, my love affair with all things Impressionist and French did too. By this time, I had the nice house, car, beautiful artwork, clothes, boyfriends and I was indeed at my most glamorous. I had it all.

I had never really been the type of woman to dream of a husband and children. I figured I had all the time in the world. Time was on MY side, I was sure of it!.
But after my dream job ended, I began to long for something lasting. I wanted a family.

As fate would have it, I agreed to meet my childhood sweetheart in Houston. We had not seen each other since we were teens and surprisingly, I had business to attend to right in the city.

Soon after, my childhood beau and I fell in love a second time and quickly tied the knot. He was a former football player, the last of the Marlboro men.

Less than one year later, on my 40th birthday, I was shocked to find myself pregnant with my first child. I had already decided to leave my husband. It wasn’t working. He was scary and verbally abusive. Anger reigned supreme. We had the old marital disease called “irreconcilable differences”.

In truth, I had no idea how to be a wife to my two husbands. But I did know how to be glamorous and exciting! I thought these husbands were there to serve and support me and my success, whatever that was. I sure didn’t know.

I was confused by my feminist indoctrination. Being a wife and mother was clearly a degrading situation; it had no societal validation. It was out of the question. I wanted glamor and success.

My inner turmoil was palpable. Everything felt wrong. I was well set upon a dead-end path trying to prove my worth in a man’s world.

REFLECTIONS ON MY INDOCTRINATION

Somehow, I allowed myself to be pushed in a direction that felt false in my gut. But I was afraid to be judged by standards and rules deeply rooted in “Patriarchy.”

Feminism was no place for a fresh-faced young woman like me, naive and wholesome like we make ‘em in the Midwest. But I was hypnotized and lulled to sleep by the popular culture and the demands of the era.

This false agenda perverted my natural feminine instincts. It fostered instead, a quest to prove my worthiness in masculine terms.

My worthiness now compared and graded to that of a male. Which one of us had the ultimate right to exist and thrive in this world? I mean, it’s a competition now, right?

You can love someone you are competing with.

WAKING FROM THE EVIL SPELL

I can now lament at leisure my squandered youth and beauty. I thought it would last forever and a day ~ or, at least until I was tired of it. Don’t we all?

I seem to have done it all backwards.

Instead of painfully questing for my intrinsic worth as a female, in masculine terms, I could have been building a strong family unit, the strength of which could now shield me from the vicissitudes of 21st century life.

We have all suffered from a cruel deception. Many choose not to look. However, since I’ve been on the planet, the heterosexual bond has been the source and sustaining force for humanity.
I now clearly see the utter destruction of the human family. Can we collectively see that the battle of the sexes did not serve us?

The Satanist bankers knew what they were doing when they drove a stake between men and women.

FOR YOUR ADDED PLEASURE, DEAR READERS, A PLETHORA OF QUOTES ON THE FEMINIST REVOLUTION AND AN INTRODUCTION TO THE INFLUENTIAL COMMUNIST, ANTONIO GRAMASCI.
.
FEMINISM IS ANOTHER FACET OF COMMUNISM
FEMINISM IS THE VEHICLE FOR COMMUNISM

Feminism was one of the many methods that little known Communist Antonio Gramsci proposed destroying the West with. He surmised that Capitalism was too strong and people too entrenched in their beliefs to ever fully embrace the class warfare of Marxism. Part of his Communist theory included inducing women into the workplace instead of family, promoting abortion, female independence from social norms, easy divorce, etc.

“Rid the law of individual rights and transform it into a bundle of group rights. Women are less concerned than men with abstract notions of justice, less preoccupied with what is 'right' and 'wrong,'" ~ Shirley Robin Letwin, "Law and the Unreasonable Woman", National Review, November 18, 1991, p. 35.
Like Marxism, feminism can explain everything from advertising to religion by following its single thread, the oppression of women." ~ Carol Iannone, "The Feminist Confusion," Second Thoughts: Former Radicals Look Back at the Sixties, eds. Peter Collier and David Horowitz (Lanham, MD: Madison Books, 1989), P. 149.

This successful ploy has become quite routine. I.E. "the oppression of homosexuals" "the oppression of fill in the blank with the ‘victim’ of your choice".

"The Women's Caucus endorses Marxist-Leninist socialist thought". ~ Robin Morgan. Sisterhood is Powerful, pg 597

"An ideological movement is a collection of people many of whom could hardly bake a cake, fix a car, sustain a friendship or a marriage, or even do a quadratic equation, yet they believe they know how to rule the world." ~ Kenneth Minogue, "The Goddess That Failed", National Review, 18/11/91, p. 46.

‘Marxism and Feminism are one, and that one is Marxism’ ~ Heidi Hartmann and Amy Bridges, The unhappy marriage of Marxism and Feminism. ~ opening page of Chapter 1, Toward a Feminist Theory of the State. Catharine A. MacKinnon, 1989, First Harvard University Press (paperback in 1991) [a legal treatise comparing and contrasting feminism with COMMUNISM AND SOCIALISM])

‘Sexuality is to feminism what work is to Marxism’ ~ Toward a Feminist Theory of the State. Catharine A. MacKinnon, 1989, First Harvard University Press. p. 3.

.

Feminism, Socialism, and Communism are one in the same, and Socialist/Communist government is the goal of feminism. ~ Toward a Feminist Theory of the State. Catharine A. MacKinnon, 1989, First Harvard University Press. Page 10. (Catherine A. MacKinnon is a University of Michigan feminist law professor!! Do you think of her? Lawyers are learning Republican government OR are they learning Communism?)
“Love without marriage is holy, and that marriage without love is illegitimate... Advocates a free contract in marriage, and that separation may occur at the will of either "mate” Divorce shall be made easy. "Motherhood" is a mere animal function, and that even a cat may have kittens; that motherhood has been made too much of in the past. She Advocates with the Socialists that the State has a superior right to the parents over the nurture, conduct and education of the children. Advocates the "control of births" by artificial measures. Suggests that any woman may reject motherhood, and any woman with "mother love" may accept motherhood whether she is married or single. The Feminist is a man hater, except as she may be able to use him for her purposes. She claims that man has subjected her to "sex slavery" and "economical servitude," from which she demands "liberation," so she may be made a "free woman. ~ Benjamin V. Hubbard (Socialism, Feminism, and Suffragism, 1915, pp. 142-144)
.
"When I was in college it was the McCarthy era and that made me a Marxist." ~ Gloria Steinem. Outrageous Acts and Everyday Rebellions, Holt, Rinehart & Winston, New York, 1983.

"There are, besides, eternal truths, such as Freedom, Justice, etc, that are common to all states of society. But communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality" ~ "The Essential Left" citing "The Manifesto of the Communist Party" ~ by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Barnes and Nobles, 1961. pg 34

"Life in this society being, at best, an utter bore and no aspect of society being at all relevant to women, there remains to civic-minded, responsible, thrill-seeking females only to overthrow the government, eliminate the money system, institute complete automation, and destroy the male sex." ~ Valerie Solana, SCUM Manifesto (Society for Cutting Up Men.) This is clearly seditious and treasonous.

'Women's liberation, if not the most extreme then certainly the most influential neo-Marxist movement in America, has done to the American home what communism did to the Russian economy, and most of the ruin is irreversible. By defining between men and women in terms of power and competition instead of reciprocity and cooperation, the movement tore apart the most basic and fragile contract in human society, the unit from which all other social institutions draw their strength.' ~ Harvard Professor Ruth Wisse.
"Feminism is the intellectual organization of gender hatred, just as Marxism was the intellectual organization of class hatred. Feminism's business is fashioning weapons to be used against men in society, education, politics, law, and divorce court. The feminist aim is to overthrow "patriarchal tyranny." In this undertaking, the male's civil rights count for no more than those of the bourgeoisie in Soviet Russia or the Jews in National Socialist Germany." ~ What civil rights have wrought. Paul Craig Roberts, July 26, 2000. Townhall.com ~ Creators Syndicate.

Modern feminism is a direct outgrowth of American Communism. Communists pioneered the political, economic and cultural analysis of woman’s oppression. Communists pioneered women’s studies, and advocated public daycare, birth control, abortion and even children’s rights. It is hard to escape the conclusion that feminism is Communism by another name.

Having failed to peddle class war, Communism morphed into a movement dedicated to gaining power by promoting gender conflict. The diversity and multicultural movements represent feminism’s attempt to forge allegiances by empowering gays and people of color. Thus, the original CPUSA (Communist Party USA ~ CPUSA) trio of race, gender and class is very much intact but class conflict has never been a big seller.

Feminists wish to destroy a Western Civilization that is dominated by white men who believe in genuine diversity (pluralism), individual liberty and equal opportunity (but not equal outcomes). Many feminists are embarrassed to discover they are Communist dupes. They try to point out the differences between themselves and Marxists but these differences are matters of emphasis. Their embarrassment, however, is nothing compared to ours when we acknowledge that we have been subverted. They have taken over our minds. Feminists dominate the mass media and the education systems (both primary and secondary) and use these for indoctrination. They have great power in the legal system, many parts of government, and are currently subverting the military. The evidence is everywhere. The term “politically correct” originated in the Communist Party in Russia in the 1920’s. We use it every day to refer to adherence to feminist dogma. Communism is alive and well and living under an assumed name. ~ American Communism and the Making of Women’s Liberation. ~ Henry Makow Ph.D. Too Good Reports. October 3, 2001.
"Remember this: The strongest sign of the decay of a nation is the feminization of men and the masculinization of women. It is notable that in Communist nations women are exhorted, and compelled, to do what has traditionally been men's work. American women, some of them, feel triumphant that they have broken down the barricades between the work of the sexes.
I hope they will still feel triumphant when some commissar forces a shovel or an axe into their soft hands and compels them to pound and cut forests and dig ditches.

I hope they will be happy when a husband deserts them and they must support their children and themselves alone. After all, if a woman must be free. She shouldn’t object to men being free too, should she?

I hope they will feel 'fulfilled' when they are given no more courtesies due to their sex and no kindnesses, but are kicked aside on the subways buses by men, and jostled out of the way by men on busy sidewalks and elevators.

I hope, when they look in their mirrors, that they will be pleased to see exhausted, embittered faces, and that they will be consoled by their paychecks." ~ Taylor Caldwell in
"They’re Spoiling Eve's Great Con Game,"American Opinion, September 1970, page 8
“Our culture, including all that we are taught in schools and universities, is so infused with patriarchal thinking that it must be torn up root and branch if genuine change is to occur. Everything must go ~ even the allegedly universal disciplines of logic, mathematics, and science, and the intellectual values of objectivity, clarity, and precision on which the former depend." ~ A quote from Daphne Patai and Noretta Koertge, "Professing Feminism: Cautionary Tales from the Strange World of Women's Studies" (New York, Basic Books, 1994), p. 116

Women's lib is a "ladies" auxiliary of the radical left. The hard core embraces Marxism, although Gloria Steinem will admit only to being socialist. Prime purposes of feminism are to establish a lesbian-socialist republic and to dismantle the family unit. ~ The Declaration of Feminism or The Document

"The cultural institutions which embody and enforce those interlocked aberrations ~ for instance, law, art, religion, nation-states, the family, tribe, or commune based on father-right ~ these institutions are real and they must be destroyed." ~ Andrea Dworkin. From Chapter 9, "The Root Cause". As delivered at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, September 26, 1975. [This commentary is clearly subversive and designed to undermine the United States of America!]

Overthrowing capitalism is too small for us. We must overthrow the whole... patriarchy ~ Gloria Steinem, radical feminist leader, editor of 'MS' magazine.

"Radical feminism is the most destructive and fanatical movement to come down to us from the Sixties. This is a revolutionary, not a reformist, movement, and it is meeting with considerable success. Totalitarian in spirit, it is deeply antagonistic to traditional Western culture and proposes the complete restructuring of society, morality, and human nature." ~ From: Robert H. Bork (1996): Slouching Towards Gomorrah: Modern Liberalism and American Decline, Regan Books/HarperCollins, NY (pp.193-225)
"Like Marxism, feminism can explain everything from advertising to religion by following its single thread, the oppression of women." ~ Carol Iannone, "The Feminist Confusion," Second Thoughts: Former Radicals Look Back at the Sixties, eds. Peter Collier and David Horowitz (Lanham, MD: Madison Books, 1989), P. 149.

"There are, besides, eternal truths, such as Freedom, Justice, etc, that are common to all states of society. But communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality" ~ Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. The Manifesto of the Communist Party. pg 34
.

Since economic Marxism was a failure, Gramsci reasoned that the only way to topple… Western institutions was by, what he called, a “long march through the culture.”  He repackaged Marxism in terms of a… “cultural war”…
“Gramsci hated marriage and the family, the very founding blocks of a civilized society.  To him, marriage was a plot, a conspiracy... to perpetuate an evil system that oppressed women and children.  It was a dangerous institution, characterized by violence and exploitation, the forerunner of fascism and tyranny.  Patriarchy served as the main target of the cultural Marxists.  They strove to feminize the family with legions of single and homosexual mothers and ‘fathers’ who would serve to weaken the structure of civilized society.”
Another cultural Marxist (George Lukacs) brought the Gramscian strategy to the schools…  As deputy commissioner in Hungary… his first task was to put radical sex education in the schools… it was the best way to destroy traditional sexual morality, and weaken the family.  Hungarian children learned… free love, sexual intercourse, and the archaic nature of middle-class family codes, the obsolete nature of monogamy, and the irrelevance of organized religion which deprived man of pleasure.  Children were urged to deride and ignore… parental authority, and precepts of traditional morality.  If this sounds familiar, it is because this is what is happening in our public… schools.
Under the rubric of ‘diversity,’ its hidden goal is to impose a uniformity of thought and behavior on all Americans.  The cultural Marxists, often teachers, university professors and administrators, TV producers, newspaper editor and the like, serve as gatekeepers by keeping all traditional and positive ideas, especially religious ideas, out of the public marketplace.
Herbert Marcuse was largely responsible for bringing cultural Marxism to the United States…  He believed that all taboos, especially sexual ones, should be relaxed.  “Make love, not war!” was his battle cry that echoed through ivy-covered college campuses all over America.  His methodology for rebellion included the deconstruction of the language, the infamous “what does ‘is’ mean?” which fostered the destruction of the culture.  By confusing and obliterating word meanings, he helped cause a breakdown in the social conformity of the nation, especially among the… young of America...

Marcuse said that women should be the cultural proletariat who transformed Western society.  They would serve as the catalyst for the new Marxist Revolution.  If women could be persuaded to leave their traditional roles as the transmitters of culture, then the traditional culture could not be transmitted to the next generation.

What better way to influence the generations than by subverting the traditional roles of women?  The Marxists rightfully reasoned that the undermining of women could deal a deadly blow to the culture.
If women were the target, then the Cultural Marxists scored a bull’s-eye. Women have traded the domestic tranquility of family and the home for the power surge of the boardroom and the sweaty release of casual sex.  Divorce court statistics, wife and child abandonment, abortion and even spousal murder can be laid at [the feminists] doorstep to a large degree.

Writing in the Winter 1996 issue of the Marxist journal Dissent, Michael Walzer enumerated some of the cultural victories won by the left since the 1960s:
*
"The visible impact of feminism."
*
"The effects of affirmative action."
*
"The emergence of gay rights politics, and … the attention paid to it in the media."
*
"The acceptance of cultural pluralism."
*
"The transformation of family life," including "rising divorce rates, changing sexual mores, new household arrangements ~ and, again, the portrayal of all this in the media."
*
"The progress of secularization; the fading of religion in general and Christianity in particular from the public sphere ~ classrooms, textbooks, legal codes, holidays, and so on."
*
"The virtual abolition of capital punishment."
*
"The legalization of abortion."
*
"The first successes in the effort to regulate and limit the private ownership of guns."
*
Significantly, Walzer admitted… these victories were imposed upon our society by "liberal elites," rather than… "by the pressure of a mass movement or a majoritarian party."  These changes "reflect the leftism or liberalism of lawyers, judges, federal bureaucrats, professors, school teachers, social workers, journalists, television and screen writers ~ not the population at large," noted Walzer…  [T]he left focused on "winning the Gramscian war of position."

Cultural commentator Richard Grenier [notes Gramsci formulated] “the doctrine that those who want to change society must change man’s consciousness, and that in order to accomplish this they must first control the institutions by which that consciousness is formed: schools, universities, churches, and, perhaps above all, art and the communications industry.  It is these institutions that shape and articulate ‘public opinion,’ the limits of which few politicians can violate with impunity.  Culture, Gramsci felt, is not simply the superstructure of an economic base ~ the role assigned to it in orthodox Marxism ~ but is central to a society. His famous battle cry is:

CAPTURE THE CULTURE."

Gramsci recognized that the chief [obstacles] impeding… the triumph of Marxism were… those institutions, customs, and habits identified by Washington and the other Founding Fathers as indispensable to ordered liberty ~ such as the family, private initiative, self-restraint, and principled individualism.  But Gramsci focused particularly on what Washington described as the "indispensable supports" of free society ~ religion and morality.

In order to bring about a revolution, Gramsci wrote, "The conception of law will have to be freed from every remnant of transcendence and absoluteness, practically from all moralist fanaticism."
